I havent proof read this but here's a quick Little Puma thought i had.
Little puma loves getting praised by you. He wants to be useful and will go out of his way to help you out. Problem is he will do this even when you dont need him to.
If you're doing chores, little puma will get in the way simply because he's trying to be helpful. Carrying some laundry? Give it to Little puma. Making jam? He can do that. Lifting something heavy? Why didn't you just ask him?
I imagine its pretty common for conversations between the two of you to sound like
"I can help with that"
"I dont need you to, I can do it myself"
-tries to take whatever you're holding anyway
"Just give it me, I can do it >:("
"No! Im not helpless go away!"

Little puma- the exact face he pulled in that one scene with white sun in episode 3.
Little puma means well but also tends to think he knows best. His heart is in the right place.
In general, I dont think little puma's great at expressing himself and will often say things he didn't really mean. Can get annoyed fairly easily and its not uncommon for conversations to end with him leaving in a huff just to come back a few seconds later and apologise. This is why he tries to show how he feels through his actions but as I said above it doesnt always come across how he wants.
But to circle back to my first point about him loving praise, he really does love it. At the start of your relationship it was hard to tell, but once you know him well its easy to notice the signs. If you do let Little puma do something for you, tell him he did a good job after. A simple well done really makes his day. Even if he gets made fun for it by his friends. Once youve praised him once he will keep helping though so use it sparingly.
Honestly I think it could go all the way to a full praise kink but thats for another post lol.
I don’t think I see enough people talking about this, considering lhotp is lwk niche rn, but PLEASE can we stop with this little puma x white reader bs? How can you genuinely watch him hate on settlers the whole time and still manage to be ignorant as hell. The only acceptable plot I see is an oc/reader who also went through colonialism, and was forced to go to america or came in an attempt to escape what they’re going through, or suprise, someone who’s native! But even then, historical factors must be considered and cannot be brushed off just cus it’s fanfiction.
