Was recently reading up on Upper Cathedral Ward/Orphanage lore and how the most common interpretation I’ve seen was that Healing Church scholars literally took in children to raise them as enlightened thinkers, doctors, and scholars under the guise of providing a safe haven for them during the scourge. Those that didn’t have scholarly potential were sent to be experimented on (resulting in, like, the celestial mobs and celestial emissary) as opposed to being shipped off in tpn canon

Since Norman is physically weak I imagine he’d primarily use arcane attacks

Equivalent of Ray not having childhood amnesia here would be him being born with a considerable amount of Insight enough to see the horrors of Yharnam and realize that there was more to the city than face value

Hi have u watched the first ep of season 2 of mob bc IM DYING ITS SO GOODOML ok just needed to tell someone I LOVE IT

Yes, I just did, actually! The quality of the first season’s anime was always impressive, and I could tell that BONES is experimenting with different animation styles and putting a lot of love into this one, too. I’m really looking forward to seeing more of it.

(I also know that the anime is going to be covering some heavy hitting arcs... So I’m preparing myself for that)
