Super looking forward to Unus Annus and what this year holds for it! The concept evokes some great ideas: How temporary these videos are and the permanence of their removal. Living in the now. Making memories. Iâm incredibly into the idea of the entire thing being deleted after too. For a creator I think the idea of completely deleting a yearâs worth of videos must be difficult- but itâs such an bold move. Itâs the opposite of the legacy so many on the internet aspire for- itâll be a legend. Iâm super pumped.
Itâs a year long journey for those who were there at the time- welcome to the club, yâall- which is exclusive to this time. You can rewatch old videos and live-streams, but this will be gone.
Fans to come will get to hear about the supposed 366 (itâs a leap year) videos on a now nonexistent channel that were enjoyed and then deleted, with only gifs/clips to speak of its alleged existence.
and even though I know they wonât really be gone (what with all the archiving, screen recording/reuploading, gifs, etc) after the year is over, I entirely love the idea. I hope people sort of keep them hidden and harder to find once theyâre deleted to keep up the cryptic nature of it.
Also the aesthetics of the videos today were đđŒđđŒ
