A/N: Short and Sweet but something to get me back into the writing game.
It was a rarity that they got time alone, between filming videos and touring. Arin smiled to himself as he stepped into the small quant coffee shop, taking in the soft piano music and the smells of coffee, even if he didn’t drink it, it did smell quite nice.
Outside the air chilled, mid fall, close to winter, perfect time for coffee and sharing warm smiles with your loves. Arin smiled at the barista ordering a warm tea, his throat slightly worn from screaming his lungs out earlier in the day. Once he paid for the tea he grabbed a small booth in the corner, taking in the rest of the establishment, people talking quietly, or reading, reminding himself that he did need to catch up on his reading if he was going to kick Dan’s ass in their one book a month reading contest. He pulled out his phone to see which book he was on, before being interrupted.
In walked the small woman, hair black as night, skin as white as paper, which really didn’t bother either men in the relationship. She walked in, on platformed heels, a small black skirt fitting her hips perfect, the maroon shirt hugging every curve, a black leather jacket keeping the cold away. She walked up to the counter, ordering a coffee, black. She thanked the barista before turning around looking straight at him.
“Is this seat taken?” The small angel like voice came from in front of Arin, he looked up and smiled.
“Suz.” He stood up kissing her gently, his wife, no, the love of his life, well one of them. It had been around three weeks since he had seen her, he kissed her forehead gently, taking in the scent of her shampoo.
“Hi.” She said looking up at him
The barista dropped off two mugs, one tea and one coffee before quickly walking away to get other duties done.
The door above the bell jingled, in walked the tall lanky man who should be walking in with some type of rock music playing. He smiled gently at the barista before quickly finding his table, walking briskly over, he decided coffee could way, he nervously grabbed Suzy’s waist, kissing her neck ever so gently, grabbing Arin’s hand.
It had been three weeks, eight hours and twenty-four seconds since the three had seen each other, and that was too damn long.
Hours later, the three sat their mugs laid wasted, small giggles, gentle kisses, and quiet promises of too never leave again. But one common promise, next time Suzy was going on tour with them.
