The set includes three meshes: for the left ear, the right ear, and both ears.
I've added 11 glowing recolors (the last 11 swatches) that highlight the wire — this effect is most visible in the dark, though you might not notice it as much in CAS.
Due to the difference between the male and female frames, the earbuds sit at different heights from the body. As a result, on female frames, they look best with bulky clothing and collars (jackets, hoodies, chunky sweaters), while on male frames, they work better with thinner fabrics (t-shirts and lightweight tops).
The default replacement includes a both-ears model with 9 swatches that match the original item's colors and requires the Fitness Stuff pack.
I've also made a new world placement object: instead of sitting in a case, the earbuds are now simply folded and placed on any surface.
Please note a game bug: if you order the earbuds through the internet, your Sim won't be able to pick them up after placing them in the world because they will no longer be the owner. This is a game bug, not an issue with my file, and it has already been reported by other users — you can vote for it so the developers can fix it.
In the meantime, you can avoid this problem by purchasing them in build mode using the Better Build Buy mod or through debug cheat codes, or simply avoid taking them out of your Sim's inventory.
just a bunch of tips about textures (maybe someone will find them helpful).
note: i use photoshop so i'm gonna use it here too. i don't know how it's going in others programs
🔧 use normal map for extra shadows and highlights while recoloring ea textures
just export normal map in png and add it to you texture/psd
play around with blend modes in photoshop
it even can add some "alpha vibe" to your recolors
🔧 some textures are misbehaving? try to use a bit of noise and maybe it can help
really quick edit, no hq ⬇️
🔧 your cool blush/eyeshadows/anything getting glitchy/pixelated on overlay skin, especially near eyebrows? change the number in the composition method section to 1, 2 or 4 and it'll get better!
keep in mind it doesn't work for non-overlay skins!

How to make new cc work for your older game versions
So, I found myself doing this for 54 packages last night & I believe a lot of you are probably dealing with the same issue. So here's a simple tutorial I put together to help you get that new bling working in your game.
For this you'll need Sims 4 Studio, any version of Blender & basic knowledge of how to use both programs. We won't be doing anything crazy in blender, it's only for checking purposes.
I'll cover the basics in the main tutorial then add some notes at the end for those who want to go a bit beyond that to ensure the new package is perfect.
1. Getting Sims 4 Studio ready:
Download the Sims 4 Studio version for your game if you don't already have it. My game version is 1.116.240.1020, so for me the correct s4s version is 3.2.4.6. In the previous versions folder, find the right one for you, download the .exe & install it.
Download Sims 4 Studio for the latest version of the game. You need the .zip this time. Once it downloads, unzip it into a new folder & make sure you can easily tell it's the new version.
Sims 4 studio
2. Preparing the package:
Navigate to our new version of S4S & open your package with it. I've chosen a top from this set for the tutorial. This is our package:
Extract the color palette, aka the swatch colors. This will save the swatches exactly as they appear on our package so we can easily transfer them to our new package later.
Export everything. Open the cheat console using ctrl + shift + c & type in "studio.exportall". Let it do its thing & when it's done, a new folder will be automatically created in the same place as the package with all the resources in it. You can now close S4S & move on to the next step.
3. Creating the new package:
The cc we're working on is a piece of clothing, so we have to check the number of mesh groups in it before we create our new package. I promise it's not as intimidating as it may sound!
Navigate to the Resources folder I mentioned in the previous step & open the file called "LOD 0.blend" with Blender. As you can see on the right, there is only 1 mesh in it. That means 1 mesh group. If there were 2 meshes, it would be 2 mesh groups & so on.
Open the S4S for your game version & create a new package. Now that we know the item has 1 mesh group, we select 1 from the mesh group dropdown. Save the package with the same name as the original so you can easily find it later, with something like _fixed at the end. I personally delete the original & use the same name exactly. For this, I chose _fixed so you can more easily tell everything apart.
If you change the name of the file, you have to rename the Resource folder as well. So, if our new package is called "Ser_bia_JadenOutfit_Shirt_V2_Fixed" the resource folder has to be called "Ser_bia_JadenOutfit_Shirt_V2_FixedResources"
Open the new package. First thing we want to do now is fix the tags while it's early. You can do whatever you want here, just make sure you uncheck the "situation" & "allow for random" boxes. Both of these mean that townies will be wearing the cc if they're checked, so turn them off.
Import the palette. Once it's imported, I recommend saving & closing the package & re-opening it to continue. S4S tends to crash if you import things right after applying a palette.
Import everything. Open the cheat console just like we did before, ctrl + shift + c & type in "studio.importall" & let it do its thing.
That's it, you're done! You now have a working new package of that cc you couldn't use before. You can do this for everything; clothes, accessories, hair. Everything.
Extra things to know:
When the meshes are exported, manually or with the method we used here, there are double vertices. I like to open the meshes from the folder & merge by distance before importing. It's very simple, all you have to do is open each LOD file in blender, select the meshes with A, then press M & click "By distance" in the menu. Save & done.
Ideally, you should export & import elements of the package like the shadow, specular & normal map manually as .DDS files yourself. S4S exports them as .png, which is not great. I delete the batch exported shadow, specular & normal map .pngs from the folder & manually import the .DDS files myself at the end.
If you're doing this for accessories, you'll have to edit the region map. So, let's say you're doing this for a bracelet. You should navigate to the warehouse tab once you're done, find the region map & click edit. Change the Layer number to 0 & the Region Type to Base for everything in there.

Hello everyone! I’m not planning to disappear anytime soon. Right now, I’m working on creating a hoodie with lacing.
Honestly, I’ve always felt that the game lacks some kind of non-standard men’s clothing, so I keep making things harder for myself by adding various complex elements. This time, it’s the laces — I’ve decided to make them part of the main mesh rather than a separate element, because in previous projects, I wasn’t very happy with how objects that are separate meshes behave during animations.
I’m already at the texturing stage, so I’m hoping to release it within the next few days.
hey guys, does anyone actually know what "ивьи гчiцы" is?!
i bet rvsn had no idea they were using symbols that look so much like cyrillic when they made this set, but now i just can't unsee it... if you’re wondering how this sounds in my head every time i see this object, it’s something like [YV-yee g-CHEE-tseh] haha!
