Being in the Kingsguard's designated area of the Red Keep was nothing unusual for Prince Joffrey. After all, it is where Ser Harrold spent a great deal of his time, and everyone in Kings Landing knew that wherever Ser Harrold went, Prince Joffrey followed.
But, the Kingsgaurd wing was not just solely for Harry and Joffrey. There was many others here to speak to, and the Prince loved nothing more than conversing with others.
Currenlty, Joffrey was waiting for Harry to come find him here. So, while he waited, he decided to pay another Kingsguard a visit. He walked through the rooms gracefully, waving at others who passed by, rings sparkling in the morning light as he did so.
Ser Robert Darklyn had been a constant figure in Joffrey's life, being Princess Baela and Prince Jacaery's sworn protector as well as a friend of their family in general. Joffrey had always admired the man, and his little brother Baelon had spoken about his armor quite a few times.
Joffrey peered through the corridor, making his way towards the knight. There he sat, quiet and thoughtful, cleaning his armor. Joffrey smiled at him. "Hello, Ser Robert! A fine day today, is it not?" He stepped closer, coming up to a little seat near Robert.
"May I sit and talk with you while I wait for Harrold?" He asked, sitting down on the plush pillow, fixing his cape so it did not wrinkle. Before Ser Robert could fully answer, Joffrey launched into his third question of the morning.
"May I ask the name of the smith who made your armor, if you know? Baelon has been asking about it, he has a fascination with fine armor, and he's seem to have taken a liking to yours!" Joffrey waved his hands towards the armor that was shining now due to Robert's care for it. He truly was curious, as he always appreciated an artists fine work, smith's especially. He knew the names of the smiths who made Harrold's armor, and in fact, Harrold himself spent quite a lot of time forging himself. What a wonderful skill to posses.
Joffrey looked up, thinking for a moment. "Perhaps I should like to ask the smith to make something for Baelon, for his nameday of course." He said, speaking more to himself than the man in front of him.

There was calm in rituals, ease in repetition. The mind free while the body diligently worked, small circular movements of the hand polishing the metal surface of the chest plate of his armor.
There was calm, ease, and there was silence. Or there were before Prince Joffrey rolled in like a wave, a flurry of words and energy. It was an almost daily occurrence, rarely the Prince and Ser Harrold where apart and when they were the Prince had no qualms in walking around the guards' living quarters looking for the other. Another thing Robert knew was that the Prince loved talking, to everything that had ears to listen, and there was no way of stopping him unless he was done and so his peace and quiet were gone.
Robert's dark eyes raised from the spot he was cleaning, before he could either greet the Prince or offer him a seat Joffrey was already sitting. "Good morning, Your Highness. It is a fine day indeed." He greeted with a polite little nod. He liked to think they were past bows and curtsies, Joffrey's presence was a constant here and he was always relaxed around them. Robert appreciated that.
With his focus now on the fast chattering of Joffrey he resumed the polishing of the dark metal, it was finely crafted but Robert rarely wore it anymore, preferring the one provided to all the King's guards.
"Uhm, I am not sure, it was a gift but I know it was crafted in Duskendale. I could ask if Your Highness wants." He proposed though he knew the Prince would have gone on talking even without his encouragement, Robert found this skill most impressive if not a bit intimidating.
