HAHA kids..

so i high fived one of my friends on the swim team as i was walking my kids to the pool side for practice and immediately they respond with " WAS THAT YOUR BOYFRIEND. IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND??" Exactly 17 seconds later i hear my name in a discussion my three top guy swimmers (age 10 n 11), so i look over and they ask me if Mr. Elliot (the other swim teach) was my boyfriend/are we dating. "HES MARRIED AND HAS A NEWBORN SON!! AHAHAH!". claaaasiiic.

there was a storms during swim practice today, a full on storm with pouring rain and we still taught. we would have gotton out if there was thunder but there wasnt. it was beautiful and fun, but cold XD least the pool was heated :)

ITS MY ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF MY DIMENSIONAL JUMP TO THAILAND!! its been crazy awesome. only the beginning though

a great day!!

woke up at 11, smoothie breakfast, went over to the Woodwards to hang with Annie and watch you tube vids, got invited to their favorite Thai restaurant, which was amazing, said hi to one of the owners, which is to me, always awesome, biked home, spruced up before going over to babysit while the parents had an organization meeting, 9 kids, 1 8th grade helper, youngest kid 18 months, lotsa pizza, carrot stix, watermelon, juiceboxs, juice box spill, wet pants drying on a fan, the movie Epic, games, twister,parentals coming back, aaand then..

unexpected payment!! I was told id be paid in pizza. My refusing was returned with a "threat" to  hide the money later where i would find it. 

It was the exact amount i  needed to go on a Burma trip to a refugee camp to play/teach sports to the children there.

God provides.

so food here is great and very cheap.

above is a thing of addicting fish chips, soooo much better than potato chips(i dont even like potato chips). But these little fried rolled out crispah fishies..mm yes. The counter should definetly try these as a topping, itd do well with the Asian community (:

And that salad looking thing is green papaya salad called Som Tam, sooo dericous. green papaya threads, tomatoes, pickled crab, nampra, cabbage, some sort of leaves?, other saucey things i dont even know..chillies.. I ll learn how to make it for you guys, dont worry.

Flash back!!

The last three nights at Lost Canyon were like this, but darker and a little less. Seeing the milky way for the first time was incredible and i had a great group of people to share it with. Shooting stars and discovering high exposure. Up all night editing and taking flashlight pictures. An unexpected photo shoot with horses early in the morning. A great memory to keep before i left, especially because i didnt get to upload any of the footage or pictures and it all got deleted (except for my friends thank God). Filming and being on the program team was the greatest way of giving back and experiencing camp in a beautiful new way. Hard work with lotsa learning but with great new relationships (and great relaxing time with Alex :3 )

It rained all night and half the day. Biking home this afternoon i heard a million frogs singing in the field across the street. I wonder where they all go when its not raining..
