Russian Doll (2019) // The Way Out, 1.07
my vision of the season finale
it is only a dream now :'(
the handmaid's tale s03e07
another episode full of artsy scenes but nothing significant happened to contribute to the plot.
they destroyed serena's character development completely. made her a slave to her desire of owning a kid thus, to her abusive husband. do they really expect us to find the dancing scene cute or romantic? bs.
june has literally the same face expression in every scene. her reactions are the same regardless of the situation and it is getting kinda boring tbh.
the only nice thing about this episode was eleanor lawrance going out for the first time in ages. even then, i didn't understand how commander was so chill and how he didn't flame june for what happened? or when june attacked that handmaid in the end where were the guards? it is really unrealistic june can get away with everything.
what do u guys think?
handmaid's tale s03e05
they f**d up all the character development of serena. to me, the most exciting element of this season was serena & june's alliance and they destroyed that. they showed us how serena never had a good female role model (she has a mother who says "you have no place in this world without fred when she sees her daughter in pain), how she was sick of fred driving her mad and leaving her alone. she was cleansed in that sea, tasted freedom and then rose from her ashes through the fire she started only to fall back on fred's lap and betray who opened her eyes (june) in the next episode.
honestly, im getting tired of the whole show becoming a "pain porn" at this point. they may have an intention to keep the show going for 10 seasons like game of thrones but i think we all saw how it turned out. for making further profits, they are ruining a good show and they are losing their message.
if they don't clean this mess up, i will be done with the show as a loyal audience from the start.
Anyone can start again
Not through love, but through revenge
Through the fire, we're born again
Peace by vengeance, brings us the end.

Nobody will protect you from your suffering. You can’t cry it away, or eat it away, or starve it away, or punch it away, or even therapy it away. It’s just there and you have to survive it. You have to endure it. You have to live through it, and love it, and move on and be better for it … across the bridge that was built by your own desire to heal.

You’re gonna survive. And good things are gonna start to happen again. And one day you may even look back and even this will not be such a bad thing.
hope this shit happens before I die
Loving life is easy when you are abroad. Where no one knows you and you hold your life in your hands all alone, you are more master of yourself than at any other time.
