That’s the biggest flaw in humanity. Thinking that you’re different, that you’re special. You grow up being told how unique you are and what great things you’re going to do, and you believe, but then it hits you when you’re older - you’re nothing special. You’re just like everyone else. Most people grow up oblivious and sheltered, and most of them remain that way, thinking the world is their oyster. But some grow up the same way, until the harsh realities of the world beyond hit them like a perfectly thrown punch and they realize they can’t stay there a second longer without losing their mind. But I know better.
