Music to quarantine and cry to. Making music, for me at least, is an emotional outlet. I don't make party music or music to chill and vibe to. I make music that hopefully gets people caught up in their feels because I was feeling a lot when making the song. I make music to convey emotion and not so much to distract from the emotional states we go through, but guide you through these states, hopefully coming out a bit unburdened on the other side.
This is why I know my music isn't for everyone, my own partner catches the feels when I’m mixing sometimes. I know how niche my music is. It’s for the doomer who feels hopeless, the heartbroken looking for a soundtrack to cry to, for those unafraid of feeling those negative emotions that dwell within without glorifying their sadness. Most of all, it’s for the weird people looking for something unexplained, something that doesn’t fit in a clean-cut box. With that being said, id still hope peeps can vibe to the sad vibrations, that it'll resonate with them on some level.
