f-fenris?????
babe are you ok?? you’ve barely used your red dead redemption 2 oven
Society has moved beyond "what if cute thing creepy" AND "what if creepy thing cute" we must destroy the boundary between revulsion and attraction. New and strange paradigms of beauty are necessary.
This well goes deep. If you you are ready for what you see, you have not yet reached the bottom. Do not look away.
Well, shit.
Kinda surprised people still manage to find my blog/posts.
After all these years, it’s heartwarming to see the fandom carrying on, keeping itself alive despite years and years of bullshit teasers from BioWare.
I haven’t played Dragon Age in well, ages. Ive been moving around a bit in the last couple years and lost all the hard copies of my games as well as lost access to my Origin account. All my books and things are packed up and away.
Admittedly I find it hard to enjoy DA these days - not because I dislike the games/lore, but bc I’ve done a lot of self reflection since I last posted. I feel like I did some folks here wrong and took advantage of the community I’d found. I feel icky for participating in cancellation campaigns against certain fandom content creators and using the fandom/my followers to solicit donations for myself. All things considered, engaging in DA source materials became painful to consume due to how embarrassed I was for how I acted so I stopped and stepped away to focus on other hobbies/interests.
I may come back to peruse and post…i probably will when DA4 is officially official in the sense of there being a solid release date, whenever that may be.
a formal farewell to the dragon age fandom
thank you for the art, the stories, the friendship, the mistakes I’ve made and the lessons learned
i hope everyone remembers me fondly
goodbye

noooo don’t tear down the veil ur so sexy aha
whats some of your favorite character concept art? is there any you prefer to the final product? I think concept art is just fun to look at tbh and was wondering if there’s any you like particularly, just for fun!
I will forever mourn the loss of all the stunning Morrigan concept art for DA:I, in favour of just dressing her in the exact same outfit she had 10 years ago. I especially like these two:
As far my favourite concept art goes though, and also what I really, really wish is what they went with in the final game... that would be without contest, Isabela’s concept art outfit:
Like full offence to the people who chose her final design but this concept art is 100% sexier because it’s flirty/cute and fitting of her character, while also way more practical. And she actually looks like a ship captain ready to run around on a ship at sea, with wind and water.

Are you ok?
Mentally? Physically? Monetarily? No. Yet I thrive anyways.
I be like “communication is key ” then ignore everyone
I love that I’ve had some of the same mutuals for like over 5 years and we never so much as exchanged a single dm.....the amount of mutual respect.....
The Canticles of Threnodies 8:13 go hard as fuck
Here’s the thing to remember about anti-racist book lists:
Read these, yes. But then read books that were not written as treatises on racism. Seek out Black art not only because it can teach you something about race but because Black people are simply doing extraordinary work.
Read Morrison as much for her prose and her mastery of pacing as for her politics. Read Ross Gay’s Book of Delights, an ode to little wonders and a reminder to look at the world with gratitude. Read Elizabeth Alexander’s stunning testament to grief and marriage, The Light of the World, and note the innovations in form as she mixes memoir with poetry and recipes, a collage meant to mirror her late husband’s paintings. Read NK Jemisin’s The Fifth Season and marvel at the worlds she builds.
Just a small reminder. Black art does not exist solely to educate non-Black people. Always be expanding your horizons.
"but my dad's a cop!!" okay piglet

“if you’re going to protest, please watch this. we are the techie side of tik tok, this is how to secure your devices and identity while protesting.
1. do not post on social media about your attendance of your whereabouts. do not click ‘attending’ on facebook events. cops go through these to make arrests weeks to months after protests. 2. download the signal app to communicate with your friends. they encrypt your messages and automatically delete them after a certain period of time. (3.) disable location services on all of your apps, most of them track you in the background. but don’t put your phone totally on airplane mode so that you can still be reached by your friends. (4.) disable the fingerprint or facial id lock on your phone, use passcode only. cops have been known to force people to unlock their phone using these methods. (5.) write the number of the aclu or a local lawyer who is supporting protesters on your skin in case your phone dies or gets confiscated. do not write the number of anybody you know that can be used to track them and you. (6.) wear a face mask to protect against the virus and against facial recognition software. cover any distinguishing tattoos or features including special hair colors, etc. also blur these features out of the videos that you post of your fellow protesters to protect them too. not just their faces, these features. leave your phone locked when filming and taking pictures. wipe metadata from your photos by screenshotting and posting the screenshots.”
