"Pretty, cute, and my adorable girlfriend!" Soldan chimed happily, eyes lighting up. "I'd do anything for her!"

âI believe in a lot of thingss, sso...that raises a quesstion on my behalf.â pulling her hand back, tapping her scaled cheek in thought and looking away. âMay I inquire more information on Narinder, Baal?â arms resting behind her back, head tilted slightly. Soldan kept the smile, it faded to a more casual one. âIâm eager to learn as much as possible. Which iss my main goal when going out for long or sshort durations.â
Baal stands tall and proud and shifts his weapon onto his back. She didn't seem like a threat, so he wouldn't worry about it. If she attacked him, she probably would have done so by now.
"Ask what you wish of my Master, Narinder. Or anything about this land. I have never seen anything like you before, so I can only assume you are an outsider."
Sitting down, tapping her scaled face in deep thought. Soldan hummed, tongue flicking out a bit; smelling at the air briefly. âIâm not from here, itâss futher off a long wayss. I do want to inquire on bassic information firsst, before I assk any questions.â beaming a smile again, staying fairly calm. âI sstart sslow, not a huge russh to go anywhere.â
âIâve been doinâ alright, surviving as ussual on my own. Got a few new scarss on my lower left leg, nothing sspecial.â shrugging, Soldan seemed a little too adapted to high risk danger. But not one to complain, preferred a bit of change to spice things up. Comes with a downside though, unbothered by it. âHey, good on âya for getting adopted! Iâve been...well, adopted a few timess mysself. I got ussed to it, technically Iâm seen as the youngesst or oldest dependinâ on who I get along with.â
"Faputa is older than little sister! She is only eight. Faputa is over one hundred years old sosu!" the hollow boasts and smiles down at Soldan.
"Faputa has Mother, but never Father. So this is the first time Faputa has had a father! It's nice. He let's me eat whatever I want! Though you should be happy to be adopted! Not alone-- With people who care!"
âWell, you have a fair point. I feel at easse beinâ cared for, though being independent iss vital for me as well when I have to hunt for a few hourss.â Hands resting on her lap, not really in a rush to move or go anywhere. Soldan perked up, eyes brightened in a calm manner. âYouâre older then I am, but...I do have a ssecret only few know about. Itâss hard to explain, on my part.â
Soldan was out most of the morning, training by herself for a few hours. Landing a solid kick on the worn out training dummy, it fell over and nearly look decimated at this rate. She sighed, not too impressed at this problem. âDamnit, I need a new oneâŠthis iss out of commision for good. Sewing wonât do much at all for repairss.â
âExercise is good for the mind, Iâve heard.â Copper made a slight smile.
âI could, uhh⊠continue to lend a hand or two if youâd like? I kinda have a lot of free time after I left my old job, and Iâve been pretty lonely. I got to chat with this woman about her frozen yogurt job online but, itâs just not the same as being there physically, you know?â
Soldan did kinda remind her of the person sheâd been chatting with, but complaining about oneâs job was far from unusual so she still didnât suspect a thing.
"About that, Iâm...that persson with the frozen yogurt job. Itâss often busier on hot dayss, and the stress overload is boiled over like a teakettle.â She sighed, arms crossed tightly and huffing a snarling hiss. Soldan shook off, then smiling a little. âI do well though, gettinâ there on time.â âI wouldnât mind the help at all! Getss a lot of work done fasster!â fins fluttering, eagerly.

âYou must be pretty strong. Looks like you got a lot out of it.â Copper picked it up and casually slung it over her shoulder.
âHopefully, theyâve made improvements since your last got one? Or maybe you could pay for additional reinforcement?â
âCorrect, when Iâm not at my job and got a few dayss off. Givess me time to mysself and to focus on thingss when Iâm not dealinâ with customers.â Soldansâ brow furrowed at the thought, a growl escaped lowly from it. âI havenât sstarted searching quite yet, but I will eventually. Good sourcess and whatnot, materialss too.â
âIâm travelling alone, Iâm not ssure what âya mean by heretic.â lifting a brow, hands in jacket pockets. âNot much business, jusst my own. Soldan Aquria, nice to meet âya!â grinning happily, extending a hand out. She was friendly, the majority of the time.
"A non believer of our god," Baal replies. He has a weapon at hand and doesn't exactly trust a cheery personality. It didn't seem fitting for the lands.
"Your business is mine when you're on our territory," Baal points out to her. "I am on patrol. Master has stated to either take care of outsiders, or bring them to him..."
He raises a palm to show he wasn't going to shake the hand, shaking his own head. "I do not trust outsiders, especially when they seem so cheerful... Though if you must know my name, it is Baal. Left hand of Master Narinder..."
âI believe in a lot of thingss, sso...that raises a quesstion on my behalf.â pulling her hand back, tapping her scaled cheek in thought and looking away. âMay I inquire more information on Narinder, Baal?â arms resting behind her back, head tilted slightly. âHavenât sseen Striker for a while, I hope heâss doinâ okay.â she just remembered, a quick flick of her fins and shaking off a shudder. âI worry way too much, aye.â
âHello againâ
@serpentine-rogue | A quiet place, here stands a man around about 5âČ4. perhaps shorter. Dressed mostly in black, a hoodie and jeans, sporting a blue mask and fluffy locks of brown hair. In his left hand he holds a bunch of flowers, totally not stolen from someoneâs garden or anything. | âHey uh..Itâs been a long time and uhâŠNice to see ya againâ | Awkward in tone, but genuine all the same, fingers gripped tightly around the stems of the stolen flowers. |
Soldan glanced up, pupil dialated thin and taking a moment to process her thoughts. She was quiet for a few seconds, running up and hugging tightly. Eyes misting up, getting slightly emotional and repressing it back down. Smiling to cover it up, body trembling a bit from emotional overload. â...I missed you, very much.â
"Halt and state your business. I do not recognize you and you don't look like any heretic I have seen. You're not from here, are you?" Baal questions the girl.

âThatâd be fantastic! Savess me from buyinâ any, and waiting for delivery.â bouncing on her toes, eyes sparkling excitedly. Soldan settled down, shaking off any extra tension from before. âSorry, got worked up there. Anyway! Iâll take ssome off âyer hands, better for me to usse!â

âYou could always get a new one, you know. I highly doubt there at expensive.â Malz honey donât sneak up on her like that.
âAh-! Malzahar, warn me next time!â Her fins hooded up, then smoothed down with a huffy hiss. Soldan gave a sigh, brow furrowed hard. âI just donât check much on pricess, ssome can be expenssive depending on the materialss used!â flicking some hair off her face, absently. âI donât know where to start looking, real problem here.â

Copper was out for a walk when she heard Soldan kicking the dummy. She quickly located the soundsâ source just in time to see it fall over.
âUh, do you need help hauling that away?â
She immediately regretted speaking, since the person (who she didnât recognize from their online chats) didnât see her approach, but sheâd hold to her offer in spite of her own embarrassment.
Her gaze flicked over, as did the fins managing to twitch upwards. Soldan stretched, loosening up her limbs for a moment. âAh, yeah. Had thiss traininâ dummy for a few yearss, finally kicked the bucket. I hope a better version ainât that expenssive, Iâll get a few of thosse if I can.â a hand on her hip, tilting back slightly. âI mayâve overdone it on the lasst hit, no clue.â
[meme] "back off!" Moxxie's pulled someone away from Soldan. But as usual they're much, much bigger. And he's probably about to get punted like a football for his efforts. "Oh beans..." Didn't think that through. ( @moxxietude )

Her angry pupils that were dialated, turned back to normal after realizing what happened here. Soldan looked at him with concern, trying to keep her composure. "Thankss, Moxxie. If anything happenss to you, I'll kick across the face. HARD."
Taking advantage of the warm weather, Soldan laid on a flat rock in the sun and wasnât planning to move for a few hours. A sleepy yawn, arms resting under her head and starting to doze off a bit. A little too comfortable, but adapted well to this for a few good years.
There was a faint clink of something metal beside Soldan after a little bit. An certain lizard had set a somewhat cold can of soda besides her. Seems despite not knowing the individual she was helping, or at least trying. As nice as the warm weather was.
Opening an eye lazily, her pupil was thin for a split second and went back to normal after blinking once. Soldan sat up a bit, puzzled-who was this? shrugging, taking the soda can and opening the tab. âWassnât expectinâ that, thankss.â taking a sip, some relief washed over. Scars visible on both arms due to the tank top, but not caring how exposed they are. âSoldan Aquria. Who might you be?â
