Kit Harington’s episode in the Channel 4 documentary MY GRANDPARENTS’ WAR will air on September 16 at 9pm in the UK

Synopsis:

Celebrated actors explore their grandparents' extraordinary wartime stories. Game of Thrones star Kit Harington digs into his grandparents' experiences during World War II. Kit's grandfather John Harington served alongside James Bond creator Ian Fleming in Naval Intelligence and was then recruited by MI5 and MI6. John ran one of the most controversial spying operations of the 20th century and later worked with notorious Russian double agent Kim Philby. Kit’s grandmother Lavender also worked for the British secret services.

Kit also explores the remarkable stories of his maternal grandparents. Mick and Pippa Catesby fell in love during the Blitz, but their lives were irrevocably damaged when Mick was sent to fight in Italy. Kit travels to Italy and uncovers the operation in which Mick lost dozens of his closest comrades, and comes to understand why his grandfather, a decorated war hero, returned home with shellshock and never spoke about the war.

Dane Whitman rumor round-up

There have been lots of rumblings over the past two weeks regarding Dane’s next appearance in the MCU.

1. BLADE

After the post-credit scene in Eternals it’s safe to assume Dane will appear in Blade which begins shooting in August. But we don’t know yet in which capacity, will it be a cameo or a substantial supporting role?

2. MOON KNIGHT

When the first rumors about Dane having a cameo in Moon Knight popped up on Twitter, I didn’t take them seriously.

But then Kit was spotted in L.A. at the exact time reshoots for Moon Knight were taking place there. So these rumors seem a lot more plausible now.

The Moon Knight trailer also confirmed that parts of the show are set in London and one of his personalities even works at a gift shop of a museum. It’s not the exact same place Dane teaches at, but it’s pretty peculiar that you have two so far unrelated MCU characters working for British museums in London (not counting Sersi since she is MIA right now).

So, fingers crossed for a Dane appearance in Moon Knight.
