i’m just. I’m sorry can we take a moment to yet again appreciate dylan’s acting. particularly in that bottom left gif. its so fast moving it would be so easy to be lazy and just yell mum and be done with it. but dylan isn’t that kind of an actor, he goes for it. and in those like three seconds you see so much; complete fear at what’s happening, but also he’s so heartbroken, so betrayed by his mum doing this to him. he doesn’t fight back though, he just goes completely into defensive. 

what really breaks me though is like he looks like a child. his face particularly in that bottom left gif is so child like. i said earlier how i was disappointed we didn’t get to see mini stiles but we didn’t need to because dylan is showing so much of that in his facial expression. like he’s broken, with this childish not understanding of why she’s doing this to him. i just, i cannot get over this. every time i think dylan can’t do better he just goes ahead and does it anyway.
