You can do it! I only learned basic trigonometry along with calculus in high school. Although it came up a bit in advanced physics.

Seth was walking to work and texting on his phone when suddenly something hit his bottom legs. He looked down in surprise and then grinned when he saw the kid. “Oh, hi there!” He looked up at the guy running up and flicked his hand nonchallantly. “No need to apologize.”

River sighed in relief when he saw neither Seth or Alex got hurt. “Appreciate you being cool about it. But she really does need to learn when to stop.” He helped his sister up and kneeled down to her level to make sure she had no scratches, “Alex, what do you say?” 

Alex bit her lip and looked down at her shoes, embarrassed to look at Seth. “I’m sorry, mister. I shouldn’t have ran.”

Seth nodded and pursed his lips in agreement with what River had said. "That's absolutely okay." Seth nodded at her. "Just glad you're okay and you bumped into /me/ and not someone meaner."

Alex was running so far up ahead, ignoring her brother’s calls for her to come back and giggling while she did. She was so caught up in disobeying her brother that she didn’t notice running into someone’s legs head first, sending both the person and Alex tumbling to the floor. 

“Alex!” River ran over to the scene, helping her up quickly. “Are you deaf? I told you to stop running!” He scolded her before he looked to your character. “Are you okay? I’m really sorry.” He said, before helping them up.
