But...but I don’t want to be...adopted...
im going to adopt you
I think that’s really....sweet? But...I have parents already...
Seth waved his hand before him, “The floor is yours.”
“I mean, I don’t think I’m a bad driver...” He sighed, “Sorry, I don’t mean to judge you, that’s wrong of me and I really apologize.”
He laughed at her words. “I don’t think I can add Jack Daniels to this specific booth, unfortunately,” he chuckled. “Wanna give it a try without?”
“Just think, no matter how hard I work I’ll never be rich enough to buy Hamilton tickets.”
“That is the saddest thing I’ve heard all day.”
“Uh-huh,” Seth replied dryly, grinning over at him to show he was teasing. He blushed when he realized his mistake, “Oh,” he replied. “Putting lotion on hands make a lot more sense than a car,” he nodded, telling himself logically, correction the conversation for himself. “As far as my hands, I actually take a lot of pride in my hands!” He put his arm out, his hand in front of Wesley’s face, “Feel ‘em!” he told him with an excited voice, even though he quickly dropped them with a laugh, bringing them back to the steering wheel. “You’re going to get home with all your limbs still attached unless you purposefully go out searching for trouble just to get to say you told me so.”
Seth exhaled but he smiled. He slipped his hands into his pockets as he allowed Andrew to ramble on about his plan to hate him. He cocked an eyebrow when he stopped talking and asked, “Are you done? You got all your aggression out--are you good?”
“I’m nineteen. And, well, I’ve never gotten any kind of ticket.”
Seth immediately felt his gut drop at the look of clear annoyance Ari was giving him. He felt terrible, but, the bright side was that he knew the guy, and it wasn’t some random guy who would start yelling at him and cursing him out. Thankfully, though, Ari didn’t do that, and Seth exhaled a breath, grateful that he didn’t need to be made to feel more uncomfortable than he already was after this incident. He shook his head at his question and rolled his shoulder out, his free hand reaching across to hold his arm. It was only just a little sore. “No, I’m okay,” he reassured him. He then bit his lip looking at the cracked phone. He couldn’t afford to offer to buy him a new one, but what could he do? “Anything I can do to make the situation better?” he asked tentatively.
“Such a great friend,” Seth remarked sending a cheeky smile over at him. As he watched Wesley get into his car he cocked an eyebrow at his insult. “....You lotion a car?” he asked, genuinely surprised, clearly indicating that the answer to Wes’ question was never. He started up the car and glanced over at him with a grin, before putting the car into drive. “I’d like to see it as an optimistic and adventurous look at life, but, whatever terms you prefer to use. Either way, I got you out of the house, which you were whining and moping about, so, you’re welcome.”
Do you ever wonder where your missing socks go? Don’t laugh it’s a legit question. I can’t count the number of times that I’ve lost a sock after doing laundry.
Sock goblins
Seth beamed when Wesley finally gave in. He clapped his hands once and when his hands parted he turned them into two thumbs up. “Awesome!” he exclaimed, pleased that he had convinced him to get out. “Mission successful,” he smirked. He laughed at his final thought, and jokingly murmured, “We wash our hands after anyways...” He then led him out to his car and got into the drivers seat. “We’re gonna have fun. Trust me.”
a shoulder collides with another body, a phone falls to the floor. it’s aristotle’s. classic. “ shit, sorry, ” he mutters, dipping down to pick it up. an additional crack splits across the touchscreen; the universe is only getting started. ari stands up, half-hearted words forming on his tongue before he registers the face of the human crash course he’d knocked into. “ —— you alright ? ”
Seth wasn’t watching where he was going, spacing out in his own world, which was pretty typical for the Niewood boy. However, when he crashed into someone, he immediately reentered the world of the now. “Yeah, yeah I’m okay, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going,” he reassured him. “Are you alright?” he asked, then noticed the status of the other’s phone. “Ooh...” he made a face. “Yikes, that doesn’t look too good.”
“Hey, you’re never too old to act like a five year old!” he exclaimed, then burst into song, “I don’t wanna grow up, I’m a Toys R Us kid!”
“Okay, you clearly need to stop watching Scream movies,” Seth declared. He crossed his arms and gave him a look. “Look, if you’re so anxious, I swear not to leave your side, no matter what. It’s not like you’re going with a girl, okay, I will come in with you when you need to pee.” He smirked, adding because he couldn’t help himself, “I’ll even hold your hand if you need me too.” He smiled, “Come on, Wes, let’s go. Nothing bad is going to happen to you.”
"At heart,” Seth grinned cheekily. “But you don’t have to be five to love kitties.”
