You’d think Delia would have tried to stay away from Arrow and Mason after Seth and Zack passing, she tried to stay as close as she could to them, or as close as she would let them. and that was fine. Without Seth, there wasn’t anything connecting them. And thats was fine.
She just dove back into her school work, and photography, anything to distract herself from missing him. And it was pretty easy, but even that she would think of something looking cool and want to text Seth being like “look at this” or anything like that with a photo and she really had no one to show things to.
Curled up on her couch, with one of Seth’s hoodies around her tiny body, she was watching the office on netflix, working on a photo when the knock came to the door. She got up heading over to the door, Southy was running around her as she went to the door. “Babe you gotta stop and go lay down.” She shook her head getting to the door and looking into the little peep hole and almost died seeing who it was on the other side. “No.” She pulled the lock on her door before opening it quickly, not even saying anything as she flung her arms around him, and started crying. “Please please please let this not be one of my dreams again.”
He heard Delia talking to Southy and he fought a laugh. That dog was a damn menace, but they loved him so much. The door opened and Seth let out a choked sob right as Delia started crying as well. “I’m real. I don’t know how, b-but I’m real.” His arms enclosed around her in almost an instant, never wanting to let the girl go again. “Fuck, Del. I love you. I love you so, so much. You’re my soulmate.”
The words came out fast, rambling before he could help himself. This girl was one of the last thoughts that had gone through his head before he’d died. His biggest regret had been not fucking marrying her. He’d fix that soon, no question. He’d plan something and ask her when the time was right. Hopefully she’d say yes.
Southy barked loudly and he laughed, still crying too as he shushed him and half carried Delia inside the threshold so their dumb precious baby wouldn’t run outside. Closing it, he pulled back a little from her and kissed her lips, then her forehead. “I’m sorry.” He blurted, knowing logically it wasn’t his fault but still feeling like it was, somehow. He’d caused her so much pain.

Going from sick, to dead, to alive but disoriented was a horrible feeling. Waking up near one of his best friends, realizing that his other friends had had to deal with the pain not once, but twice? That was even worse. Holding onto Zack, Seth had made his way through the woods and as they’d reached the edge their heightened senses had made it click in their brains that now.. They were most likely supernatural. Like Arrow.
They’d continued on together until they’d reached a road that split, one way leading towards their apartments and the other leading towards where Delia lived. Zack had understood. Told Seth to go to her. Seth had nodded, eyes intense. “Go to him.” There was no explanation needed. They’d parted, heading towards the pieces of their hearts that lived outside of their bodies.
Seeing Delia’s place brought his heart warmth, happy to see her car parked outside. Sure, he knew where the spare key was but well.. It seemed weird, to break in when he was supposedly dead. Had she moved on? He wasn’t sure how long it had been since he’d... Well, yeah. Zack wasn’t sure how long it had been since it had happened to him, so they’d both been confused as to what they’d be coming back to.
Walking up to her door, all he could do was knock and hope the girl on the other side still loved him as much as he loved her. Inside he could hear her milling about, she was safe. As long as she was still safe.. Seth could be happy with whatever came next.

More often than not, Delia and Seth were chilling at his apartment. It was easier, plus he was typically just a stone’s throw from the guys. Living in the same complex had proven great especially when Mason needed a quick babysitter. Delia being over so often was sorta like playing house, not that he minded it at all. He’d been debating on asking her to move in for weeks.
Today he’d opted to stay home from work, feeling a bit under the weather. He’d shot Delia text letting her know he felt shitty and with a promise for her to come over when she could, he’d just binge watched Netflix all day.
It felt like a cold, more than anything. His entire body ached and he felt like something was building in his head and chest. He was almost entirely through a John Mulaney comedy special when it felt like something wet was running down his face. Was he crying?
Pulling his hand back, he let out a shaky breath at the sight of a silver liquid on his hand. What the fuck was going on? He- no. No, he couldn’t be next. He couldn’t be dying. Seth reached for the phone, hesitating. What good would it do? No one who had been through this had survived.
Lights flickering, the sound of footsteps startled him. He had barely looked up when he felt a sharp pain in his neck, not even seeing the culprit before he was just.. Dead. Slumped on the couch as Netflix played, he was alone. It was over.
