I noticed something

Gay is not only Todd, but also Travis. In the letter he addressed the guy and said “his father will kill him.” Maybe I’m wrong, but in a Russian translation the letter was addressed to the boy. I do not know if it’s noticeable in English. Here we can directly observe how acceptance affects a person. Todd is accepted by parents and friends, Sal says: “This is part of him and it’s fine” and Todd is a wonderful boy, he is smart and communicates with a good company. Travis has absolutely the opposite situation: he is an asshole, he fights, and then he cries in the toilet, because he is in love and “the guy should not feel that way” and “it’s unnatural”. Thank you, Steve, I’m proud of you.

So I started to read “From the Darkness We Rise” again. It’s like a special tradition of mine to read this fic the night before our city catches the first snow haha.

But also I remembered another fic I wasn’t able to read to the end (because it was still in progress at that time) and really regret not reading it later.

Somehow got the vibes from “The Golden Age that Never Was” by @not-poignant today. Haha, I’m still trying to catch up with inktober.
