The work could be done the next morning, he’d hate to leave the woman waiting much longer. “I live just upstairs, you can wait sitting down on my small but very comfortable couch. I shower quick.”

“Yeah, I’m sorry about that.” Seulgi ran her fingers through her hair, slightly embarrassed. Her work schedule hadn’t been set in stone and she had no idea when she was able to meet the other. It didn’t help that she left her phone on the charger at home. “Ah, okay. That sounds good. I don’t mind waiting anyway.” She assured with a small smile.

There was a black smudge on his face and newspaper covering the light grey hardwood floor when he came out of the deposit room carrying a small paint bucket to find her already in. “Hey,” he greeted, waving with a dirty hand. His last client had left a little over two hours before and he’d been working on his mural since. The graffiti pattern he had accomplished to come up with curled around three framed posters he didn’t want to move from the wall was wildly different from what he’d consider his style, but it looked good. “How do you like it?”

The blonde chuckled to herself when she saw the appearance of her friend. He wasn’t covered in paint like she usually would be, but he was definitely less put together than normal. It was a nice change. “It looks really nice. Definitely different from what you normally do though.” She had her arms crossed against her chest as she looked up at the wall. The mural was coming together nicely and it was giving her some ideas for a new sketch. She was one that could get inspiration from anywhere, but especially from her friends. “Are you ready to head out or did you want to finish some stuff up here?”

Usually it took a few meetings before the blonde was comfortable with anyone, but with her it was right off the bat. Some of Seulgi’s favorite places were the art museums in downtown Seoul. She loved to go and study and learn from the amazing pieces of work that were displayed for millions of people to see. They inspired her in ways that little else seemed to. One of her dreams was to eventually have her own exhibit in even just a small studio. She wanted to share her work with the world, but she knew she was no where near ready yet.

The Seoul Museum of Art was the one she visited the most. She could be found wondering around there at least once or twice week, with a sketch book in her hand. Normally  she wasn’t one to pay much attention to the people around her. Sure, she would sketch someone from time to time or a certain color would catch her eye, but the actual person never interested her. Until she saw him.

It took a few weeks before she realized it, but it seemed that the stranger was at the museum almost as often as she was. After a while she started to pay more attention to the other. She observed the way he studied the art as well as any art student would do. It intrigued her. Soon enough, her sketch book had pages filled with half-done drawings of him. Even after weeks of silently watching, she couldn’t find the courage to speak to him. Maybe that would change soon.

his steps are heavy, a languid pace to match the way he drags his legs, keys circling his index finger rhythmically. of course, he doesn’t really have a reason to be tired; laziness sets in, eyes strained from staring at computer screens, hands sore from clicking a mouse and smashing on a keyboard endlessly. he almost pities himself, but he’s caught off guard by a mouthwatering aroma that fills the hallway.

living on his own as a helpless twenty year old takes a toll on his nutrition. he engorges himself on instant noodles and other frozen dinners, take away food that he has conveniently delivered to his doorstep.

but he misses real food. so, without a second thought, he pounds on the door of the source eagerly, shifts his weight from one foot to the other as he waits impatiently. “excuse me? i’m sorry if this is weird, but i can smell your dinner in the hallway and i was wondering if you could… uh, teach me how to cook, i guess?”

It had been a long week and all Seulgi wanted to do was curl up in bed with a nice dinner and catch up on her shows. Luckily, her sister was out for the night and she didn’t have to worry about making something for her as well. Though she probably was going to end up making enough for two anyway. Maybe it would be a good midnight snack later.

Perking up when she heard the knock on the door, she quickly washed her hands before answering, a questioning look on her face. “Can I help you?” The blonde asked. She was really only half paying attention to the male at the door, not wanting to risk her food burning.

“You want me to ... teach you to cook?” She was a little taken back by the question. Maybe it was a little weird to ask of a stranger, but she really didn’t think her cooking was all that great. Growing up with personal chefs in the kitchen, she had just been curious and learned a thing or two. “Why don’t you come in and we can talk about it?” Normally, she would just think the guy was some sort of creep and slam the door shut, but she had seen him several times in the apartment building. Mostly with instant noodles or takeaway in his hands. What could it hurt?”

muse a is from a foreign country and doesn’t know how to speak the local language and is trying to order something at this restaurant muse b is at, too. so muse b offers to help and hey, is that chemistry going on between them? because people start thinking they’re actually a couple.

muse a and muse b were in love during high school and everything was good until muse a had to move to another country and now they meet again under whole new circumstances: muse a is still in love with muse b, but muse b is taken… and super happy with this other person.

this horrible thunderstorm is happening and both muse a and muse b are at this other town, soaking wet and cold, and they missed the last train to their home town. to make things even better, neither of them have enough money to pay for a night at a motel, so hey, i don’t know you, but wanna share a room for tonight? (extra: both actually feel hella attracted to one another and are single)

muse a sings like an angel but is really shy so they only sing in the shower. everyday, muse b, who is their neighbor, listens to their singing and thinks muse a is actually a professional singer. one day they meet at the elevator of their building and muse b really wants to ask for muse a to sing a song for them, or just compliment them. but how will they do so without making things awkward? and to top this situation, muse a is also a lot attractive.

muse a doesn’t know how to cook and finds out an a+ chef (muse b) has just moved into their building and everyday they smell the food coming from the apartment next to them, so they decide to knock on their door and ask them to feed them/teach them how to cook decently.

muse a is allergic to something (like dogs) that muse b loves and has on their apartment and they fight all the time because they’re neighbors and muse a can’t stop sneezing but muse b doesn’t want to give that thing up, but there’s a hidden sexual tension between them too.

muse a and muse b have this one night stand after drinking way too much at a party/bar/etc and the next day muse a finds out muse b is actually a person of note. meanwhile, muse b was totally enchanted by muse a and wants to find out who they are, but has no idea of how to start. no, wait. is that muse a the waitress in that restaurant i’ve just stepped in?! oh fuck.
