Happy birthday to the stranger that is no more. I do still wish the best for you.
There’s something incredibly annoying about seeing a notification of someone following me and their last post is “men deserve death”. Like, see yourself out please. And stop following men you don’t know.
kinda why I decided to add "combative people will be ignored" to my Bluesky profile, I finally understand why you've been so snippy with annoying people in the past
I don’t know how people have energy to be negative all the time in this current social environment, honestly. It’s why my existence online is minuscule now.
I can only assume that either:
they have no real problems and are relentlessly bored. even negativity is stimulating
they've been so entrenched in toxicity in their everyday life that this is normal to them and they genuinely have no idea how else to be
and look, I was considered a regular in the Complaints Forum of DeviantArt in my early 20s, so on some level I get the appeal of being negative all the time. but it feels like everyone is so much more nasty now, like they genuinely want to hurt people instead of just saying shit and logging off.
Like, I guess I legitimately can’t talk shit because we were kinda asshats back then, but at least we were asshats in response, not blanket asshats. The world sucked but on an individual level. But also trolling is a lost art too. If I said some of the shit now that I used to say then, I’d be banned from six websites and have a google docs about me. But back then, we all knew it wasn’t serious.
I think you’re right though. They are so used to being surrounded by negativity, they probably don’t see how unhappy it’s making them. The internet was kind of the worst thing for society.
I don't know if I necessarily agree with that last point, I think it's simply a double-edged sword. the internet has made many aspects of our lives better but amplified many of the worst ones. I, for one, will continue playing in my corner of the sandpit and not concern myself with what other people are doing or saying
That’s why I said kind of, it has its perks, but humans are also drawn to being their worst selves when they don’t have to be face to face with the consequences of doing so. Also now I need an app to do literally anything and I’m just old man yelling at the clouds about how technology is ruining my life on a day to day basis 😔

So uh….some dude apparently recreated Adobe Photoshop feature-for-feature, for FREE, and it runs in your browser.
Anyway, fuck Adobe, and enjoy!
Give credit to the 30-year-old who did this shit for free and offers this remarkable thing for free!
