so we’re having a little party, right? other couples, some with kids etc

it’s time to pray, so we’re praying asr together

the moment we all go down into sajdah some door-to-door political canvasser knocks - and someone’s kid FLINGS THE DOOR COMPLETELY OPEN and says nothing. not a word.

the guy gets half a sentence out: “is hassan (insert generically muslim surname) here today to talk about-” and then he sees a living room packed with muslims with their faces planted on the ground in unison

and the kids just deadpans “they’re praying.”

and he starts to stutter out a response when the guy leading the prayer goes “ALLAH HU AKBAR” (said when changing positions in the prayer)

and this poor guy is just

#anyways #more surprised that nobody laughed during the prayer #that poor dude
