the funeral for a martyred priest is being held today. please add both your prayers and intentions for Father Joseph Tran Ngoc Thanh, who so fearlessly lived out his vocation.

Hey if you all wouldn’t mind, please pray for the girl I take care of. She’s in the ICU with covid. She has Down syndrome and a couple of other health issues that put her more at risk. She is about to turn 30 but is developmentally closer to a two-year-old. She is stable, so pray that continues to be the case and that she is healed. Her parents also both have covid and are home but not doing the greatest, and of course they can’t be with her. Please pray for healing for them as well. She also has two younger brothers who live at home who I’m sure are also incredibly stressed out and helping however they can. So please pray for comfort and peace for the whole family.

Update: her dad tested me this morning and told me a that she’d taken a turn for the worst. Her oxygen is declining. He said to pray that she won’t be in any pain. Pray that her oxygen improves and that they can get her stable again.

Another update: her dad told me they put her in a regular room to make her more comfortable. He said they’re hoping for a miracle but things don’t look good. If her oxygen gets too low they’re going to put her on morphine so she won’t be in any pain.

They've put her on comfort care. They expect her to be with Jesus soon. Thank you for all the prayers. Please keep praying for her family.
