The next chapter of AFTTCS is already at 4k but so is the next chapter of the new fic “Love from the Other Side of The Apocalypse” which I’m abbreviating to “LFTOS” and I’m actually feral about both of these vastly different situations. LISTEN. LISTEN. I want Sara and Barry to reunite and to start get the character arcs and relationships of the NEW Team Arrow going (complete with Felicity being freaked out by a happy Oliver) BUT! Also, what if I just wrote more of Barry being a disaster BFF to Laurel???? HMM???

RorD Barry is one of my favorites. He’s not dark, or evil, but he’s 100% ready to commit crime and never goes anywhere without a really good set of knives.

I love how my RorD AU Barry could easily be dark. Him and Oliver could easily be dark. BUT INSTEAD they’re just super feral. Love that for them.

my favorite thing about the RorD universe is that Barry gets to be part of the rich people nonsense without actually realizing that he is cause he’s the most reasonable one. I’m writing Oliver/Barry on their date and my brain keeps saying: Imagine Barry’s first time taking Iris to a fancy restaurant and she’s like “Barry there are only like 12 things on this menu, where are the prices????” It’s just stuff Barry learned on the fly being in the Queen Household as Oliver’s Soulmate. Like he’s just thrilled he’s finally the one with the menu that has the prices.
