Finished Saint Cecilia art for my saint project :] the markers had smudged my linear, and I had completey given up on trying to make an accurate organ, but I still like the way it came out :D my teacher also liked it. Progress pics below the cut. I had made this last month I just forgot to put the final pictures T^T

Okay! Updates because it has been a while since I last was active on here. I have just been swamped with work and the play but luckily it's almost spring break and we did our final show this Saturday! It went really well and I am so grateful for the experience. As for the tapestry, I did not get to finish it in time for the art walk, so instead I made a collage. I will still be working on the tapestry but I am going to be taking my time with it and prioritizing school and my health. I am going to be putting a bunch of pictures up of the things I have worked on since the beginning of the month, so look forward to that :] Love you guys!

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes
The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

Seriously, this is a tumblr-killer feature. This breaks the most fundamental way tumblr is different from any other social network. This makes tumblr just another blueskytwitterthreads. Or worse: An unfederated mastodon clone.

look, I can endure any kind of UI changes that are supposed to help tumblr-rookies to understand how this works. They may be a nuisance, but that's ok, we have x-kit or we can get used to buttons being here or there.

Tumblr has explicitly said in the past that they do not look at comments on their updates posts. You have to PUT IN A SUPPORT TICKET AND SELECT FEEDBACK FROM THE DROPDOWN

This "reblogs in a chain now gets their own notes" is a horrible idea that completely takes away not only what makes tumblr unique but actively harms individuals with smaller followings- the vast majority of the website. This will drive off the people who actually create things and end up creating another exodus and a lack of good content. Artists already struggle to find audiences, with this its essentially impossible. No artists means no content means this site will slowly die.
Please, don't do this. Please, don't ship this.

okayyy so I was just doing a gauge swatch and this project (the crochet tapestry) is going to be 75.33 x 76.5 centimeter or 30.13 x 30.6 inches T-T It is 113 x 153 stitches for a grand total of 17,289 which I am just reeeaalllyyy looking forward to doing (sarcasm). Woohoo.
Im starting a new crochet project! My school has an artwalk every year and I thought it would be fun if I crocheted one of my characters ^^ I turned a doodle of Estella I did in class into some pixel art and I also kinda altered her design so it would be easier to crochet. Her hair is meant to be purple but to limit my colors I made it pink here. I can't wait to get started on this tapestry and I'll be posting lots of progress pictures. Yippee!
Quick Ben Hur x Messala doodles I did on my worksheet in latin class. We were watching Ben Hur a tale of the Christ (1959) and since the very beginning my entire class of six other people aggressively shipped them so I offered to make fan art of it and now it is posted on the latin google classroom along with my quick typing of Messala's final speech. I honestly can't draw men or side profiles so that first doodle was a struggle. I'm still working on the final drawing of the death scene and for once my classmates are invested in what I'm doing and we actually all get along. :D
The iguanas just want to go to the market, like the desperate and selfish little critters they are. But they better buckle up and face reality because that's just not an option right now. I fear they must lock in.

This time it's Broke Both Your Legs by Small Crush <3 I was supposed to go to their performance tomorrow but my brother can no longer drive me and I am very bummed about that :c On a positive note, I am working with a friend at school to write some songs of my own, and I will probably post those here once they are done :]

Beach Bunny is one of my favorite bands, so I learned a lot of their songs. I know the audio quality isn't that great but it's the best that I was able to get at the time I had recorded it T-T
