"You can come hide with me"
(hurry chase before she sees)
BEARING-A-BLOODY-FATE SAID: DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT, SWEET PEA. HAPPINESS IS JUST A TEARDROP AWAY. AND I CAN BRING YOU HAPPINESS WITH ONE SIMPLE SPELL. [IDON’TKNOWWHATI’MDOING]
"I know a spell too, its called 'playing dead'"
John Green
Allow me to find you your prince charming.
"W-What?!" Nina exclaimed, she turned away. Her face flustered... this guy again... what an ass. Who did he think he was?!
"I-I don't need a prince charming, thank you very much."
(NATHAN WATER YOU DOING)
"Oh its late, isn't it?" Nina spoke softly to herself as she looked through some old books. She found herself lost in the library, not wanting to go out. Book after book, the girl found herself in a new adventure every time. She hadn't noticed how late it was, but the girl couldn't seem to leave.
@severed-hope
“Er..uh, not really?” she said, “It’s uh, not a big deal though. I don’t mind spending it by myself” she said a little too quickly.
“Well, you shouldn’t have to celebrate alone.” I’ve spent plenty of years by myself, but she deserves better then what I had. “Well, you should come celebrate with me and my other friend on Thanksgiving. He’s a bit of a loner too, but the more the merrier, as they say.”
"W-What?" was all that could escape her lips. She didn't even know this guy all that well and he was inviting her to spend Thanksgiving with him and his friend? She pondered for a moment. He didn't seem all that bad, when he wasn't being a total jerk. It wouldn't be so bad to spend Thanksgiving with them, it was better than being alone at least.
"Alright, I'll take you up on your offer"
Cloud blinked, and then nodded once. ” Alright. Let’s see where we are.” The blacksmith started to walk forward with the other. He seemed a bit more cautious in this place than He was than most other forests. But He was glad to have someone else here with him rather than being alone. “… Why are you out here anyways? Where you looking for something? Or maybe someone important?” Cloud suggested as they walked. It seemed just a bit suspicious to just end up out here.
The Blacksmith yawned a bit and tried to think of something else to say “Wait— You didn’t tell me your name yet. What is it?” He politely asked. Which Cloud didn’t do often. Cloud was rather intrigued once more why she was so interested in his name. It was rather weird, or maybe just unusual? He couldn’t get over the fact that she kind of cute strange. No matter anyway. The blacksmith looked up as well, The darkness surrounding them. Cloud didn’t mind the dark, but if she had a problem with it He would try to comfort her in the situation.
Cloud noticed she was kind of nervous— Maybe it was an assumption, maybe not. “Are you alright?”
"Ah, no, no one in particular I'm afraid" she said with a laugh, "I'm always wandering about, its better to be out an about then to be cooped up in a building you know? I like a good adventure." she said, she didn't bother to mention her running away. Kind of. Every night she would leave, disappear, hoping to never return to her home. Yet, when she woke up in the mornings she would be back in her room. She could never bring herself to really leave. Pushing away her thoughts, she focused her attention back to cloud.
She giggled, "Oh yeah, you're right" she said, "My name is Nina" she told him, nothing interesting or cool. Just a simple name. She couldn't help but feel a bit jealous the boys name. Cloud. Perhaps it was because her head was always up in the clouds. Her mind always lost in their own thoughts and dreams of things she wished could happen. Adventures, tragedies things that could only ever happen inside her head. She could hear the sweet music the night brought. The crickets playing their song, and the and the cool wind breeze grasping at their bare skin. The night seemed, almost peaceful. Still, there were still things that frightened her. Who knew what lied deep within this forest. A forest neither of them knew of, a killer could be lose. Dangerous animals. She didn't know how to fight, nor how to hunt. She could feel her heart racing at the thoughts that she might not make it through the night.
“Are you alright?”
Clouds voice snapped Nina out of her thoughts. Clearing her head for a moment, she looked back and smiled.
"Oh, no, I'm fine, just thinking" she replied simply.
@severed-hope
“Yes?”
“Are you doing anything for Thanksgiving?”
"Er..uh, not really?" she said, "It's uh, not a big deal though. I don't mind spending it by myself" she said a little too quickly.
@severed-hope
“Hey, Nina! I want to ask you something!”
"Yes?"
He laughed at her rude manners “Ah— I know it’s not much of an actual name. But that’s what I was named.” If you would rather say the mouthful of Aeolus. The blacksmith didn’t know what else to say, even though He was rather awkward around most females. He had a bit of interest in this one. Like; Why was she out here anyway? Most people would be cautious of these areas. For all Cloud knew. They could be in Rome. Greece— Hell! Persia for all anyone knew.
Nina chuckled a bit, her hands interlocking behind her back. A habit she did a lot due to her nervousness. She was worried she had a offended him a bit, she hoped she hadn't. She was terrible when it meant to keep her words to herself, but she couldn't help but wonder. Cloud was indeed a strange name, but there were others with even stranger names than that. Nina smiled a bit, glancing around a bit before brown eyes met his.
"Well, its not that bad~ I think its a bit interesting" she said, "Just your name makes you stand out already, your lucky" she said. She looked up at the sky, the sun was already beginning to set. This worried her, if anything, she hated being in the forest at night. Who knew what was out here? But she wouldn't dare show it.
"It's getting dark" she said, trying to hide the sudden fear that was rising in her voice. She feared the dark. "Are you traveling alone? Would you mind if I tagged along? I really can't remember how I got here, and well it would be nice to have some company" she said with a smile.
Cloud tilted his head and chuckled a bit. “Ah— It’s fine” The blacksmith started to think of where he had been last. Nothing seemed to come to mind. “Err—” He had nothing better to do. So why not strike up conversation with a stranger? “So.. I’m Cloud. And you?” Smiling a bit. or at least. Trying to.
She felt awkward, still glancing around. Damn it all, just where was she? Her eyes darted back to the boy, she wondered by the boy just hadn't continued to walking. She knew most would have done the same, yet here he was, lost, and unsure of his surroundings...yet he decided to strike a conversation? Strange indeed. Still, the girl held herself up.
"What kind of a name is Cloud?" she asked, a bit dumbfounded by his name. Such an odd name.

“A visitor? At this hour?” Nina spoke softly to herself. She blinked a bit confused before shrugging her shoulders, a smile crawling on her face.
“Hi there!”
“Mmm— Hey” The blacksmith may needed to be a little more free-spirited. Rather than his usual melancholy self.
“Would you happen to know where I am?”
Nina blinked, pondering for a moment. She felt her heart race as her memory fogged up. She looked around at her surroundings, nothing but trees. They were in a forest nonetheless, but what forest? She couldn't remember.
"Ah, I'm sorry I seemed to have forgotten... I don't know"
Nathan only stood there as the girl lost her temper and started yelling at him. That anger seemed to be getting the better of her and to him, it seemed like it happened rather frequently. He could only idle listen to her scolding before waiting for her little tantrum to finish and he was able to speak once more.
“I don’t get why you continue saying ‘what if’. There are no ‘if’s, really. It didn’t happen, you didn’t get hurt, so you really need to let it go.” The swordsman chuckled a bit.
“Prince charming, heh, if only you knew.” He mumbled to himself, dipping his head just the slightest bit toward the ground.
It wasn’t long after, but she seemed to calm herself down albeit a light blush crossed along her face. Even if she said the nest would be a nice trinket to have, to him it just seemed like another useless thing to have to carry around and eventually have to dispose of. Why bother taking something if it will ultimately have no value or not last long?
“Oh well, it’s in the past. Say, I never got your name, what is it?”
Nina's eyes widened a bit at his words, her hands tightening their grip on the nest. Insecurities beginning to take over. She felt embarrassed, rude, and just downright horrible. It was rare for her to loose her composure, she could usually deal with things in a calm manner, but this time however seemed a bit different. He was right, she didn't get hurt. In fact she was perfectly fine The more she thought about it, the more nervous and stupid she felt for getting so worked up over something so silly. So tiny.
“Prince charming, heh, if only you knew.”
Just what did he mean by that? Why was he so calm? She had scolded him, and she half expected him to yell back. She expected to do anything really.
“Oh well, it’s in the past. Say, I never got your name, what is it?”
Nina took a deep breath, releasing her grip from the birds nest, which she had just ruined by her own hands. She gritted her teeth a bit, angry with herself for being so careless. She mentally slapped herself before turning back to face the man. The carefree smile on his face stunning her for a moment.
He has a nice smile.
"Nina," she said, "My name is Nina."

"A visitor? At this hour?" Nina spoke softly to herself. She blinked a bit confused before shrugging her shoulders, a smile crawling on her face.
"Hi there!"
“My, my. This princess seems to have a bit of a temper.” Nathan mused a bit. Letting the nest get snatched away, the brunette straightened his back before continuing. “As I recall, you yelled at me for not being there to catch you while you fell to your very predictable fate. Do you expect me, a complete stranger, help you just like that? You don’t know me, I don’t know you. I had no obligation to come to your aid, princess.”
Oh yes. That small little nickname was certainly getting to her. Her agitated features certainly were a bit amusing.
She seemed to fumble a bit as the girl was inspecting the tangled up mess of twigs. “You should probably give up on that. Once you touched that nest, the birds wouldn’t return anyway.” He said with a shrug. “Well. Anyway it doesn’t really matter, does it?”
Nina flared at the nickname, was he seriously mocking her? How dare he!? Nina did her best to keep herself composed, as a lady should... but this guy whoever he was, really pressed her buttons. Already she was thinking of a million ways to strangle him with the birds nest. Luckily for him, she still had a use for it. The girl took a step closer to the male, her features on her face scrunching up as she frowned at him. The nickname itself made her want to punch the tree, why was he calling her that anyway?
Letting out a soft huff, she narrowed her brown eyes at him.
"There's nothing wrong with helping someone in need when it looks like they need it. Regardless if you know them or not. What if I seriously got hurt?! Would you just leave me there? And by the looks of you, you probably would! I don't even know if I would even want your help, you're some prince charming, you know that?! " she rambled, no longer in control of her thoughts and words. "And stop calling me princess!"
After realizing what had just happened, she took a step back. Completely embarrassed she had let loose so easily. God damn him. She looked away, trying to hide the blush from her embarrassment on her face.
“You should probably give up on that. Once you touched that nest, the birds wouldn’t return anyway.”
"Agh, I'm not keeping it for the birds, you know" she said quickly, her voice soft and still sounding a bit agitated. "Its just something nice to have is all"
