HIDE YOU IN MY COAT POCKET
I don't want to plug into a church or a dgroup. I don't want to be part of something that is superficial and not really digging in on what is life really about. I don't want to waste away my days doing the wrong thing. I'm not saying that I am giving up on my faith. On the contrary I am pushing away the lies, falsehood, and deception that has been thrown around lately. I will not succumb to enemy, I will fight with what the Holy Spirit has given. With loads of discipline I know for a fact that I can be what God wants me to be. I don't have a plan, not a good one at least, for the plans I have for my life. I want to graduate, have a job, hopefully a family in the future but these thing are not set in stone. God could lead me anywhere and he could lead me ANYWHERE. Honestly, I wouldn't mind. Hesistant at first, I won't say I won't doubt him or be uncomfortable, that's apart of the discipline. His plans go so much deeper than I, or you could ever imagine. I said I don't want to plug into a dgroup and church. What I want to do is plug into a family of believers who can keep me accountable and encourage me. People who are willing to be my other family. I'm not giving up on my faith, I will never give up on God. That is not in me to do that. Imaging it makes me cry and honestly stresses me out. A life without God is a stressful one. This is a challenge for me, to find this type of family, this type of community. And I know with the guidance of the Holy Spirit I will find one. So what about you? Are you in a community? Or are you just wandering like I am? Like the Bible says, we were not meant to live this life alone.
Something that was bothering me that I had to draw.Â
#destroy the idea that youâre not being social if you donât drink
YOU DO NOT OWE ANYONE AN EXPLANATION FOR WHY YOU DONâT PARTAKE OF ANY âSOCIALâ ACTIVITY
Iâm actually happy when people ask me why I donât drink, or why I donât do some other stuff considered normal behavior for a person of my age. It gives me an excellent opportunity to share the Gospel.
Thatâs true, but most people donât ask. Most people (Christians, usually) just get offended. I am more than happy to explain why I donât, but the whole speech on why itâs not sinful gets a little old. Just let me not drink in peace.
This is how I feel in any situation today where people are like âDonât worry, youâll try it somedayâ or âYou havenât experienced the world yetâ and my all time favorite when I say no and give my response âYou need to be more opened minded.â Its amazing for me to see how the world corrupts and changes things for their own good, and slowly tries to bring everyone on their side. Even though lately I feel like the process has sped up.Â
Confession #4: I feel inadequate. Not to long ago I watched a sermon and it spoke words of life into me, but now I am feeling dead. I've worked so hard to get myself back to Jesus, and I am so tired. I feel so alone and like I can't trust anyone even with my simplest thoughts. I can't get into a community without being told or shown I am not wanted. I can't even be in the ministry I know God has called me into without them doing the same and talking behind my back. I know I should let it go, I know I should let God handle the pain and the mistrust. I know it but its so hard. I can barely breathe, and I can barely write. I can barely do anything God wants me to do. And I want to do things that are godly and that glorify him. I know what God thinks of me, but I struggle. I have no idea who I am. I don't even know how to love myself properly. I'll be honest and say I am scared. I am scared of not being enough for him, because what I do for people isn't enough. The length I go to show I love and appreciated people go unaccounted for. It doesn't matter, especially when I don't do it correctly several times. Inadequate is the word, lonely is the life, and I don't trust you is my name. I don't belong anywhere on this earth, and that sucks. #Inadequate #struggle #confession #write
Confession 3: I don't like to be alone, but I push people away in fear that I will hurt them and that they will hurt me. I confess that this is a understandable, but also unreasonable fear/confession. We are all going to be betrayed by someone in our life or at least hurt by them. I wish that didn't have to happen but I accept that that does happen. The pain is real, the struggle (dare I say) is real. Today I was struck with this fact, this confession: that I feel alone. But I am constantly reminded every day when I turn on the radio to k-love or am near my family or someone from church that I am not alone. But when I am found by myself is when the thoughts start to creep in telling me that I am alone. I am forgotten. It is frustrating to have this feeling. I don't know how anyone, even myself, could think that life would be better without people. I'm anxious with people, but I am also anxious alone. Just typing this makes me anxious. I confess that I am lonely, but I refuse to let something harmful in my life. I would rather be lonely with Jesus, than have all the things in the world to try to fill it up. I'm not sure how many people will understand how frustrating it is to feel this way and then come to realize that we aren't and that we have Jesus. I have this happen to me more than I can count the bones in my body. Its frustrating to see how I can forget that He has been here and he will always be here. I don't have to worry about anything, I don't have to be anxious, I don't have to fear. Its the same for anyone who puts their trust (or tries) in Jesus. Lets be honest the Bible says we were never meant to be alone, but why do we strive to be alone in this world? Why do I want to be alone? Why do you want to be alone? The real answer is that we don't, we are just scared to be broken like we once were. I will say that is also apart of this. People will stay and others will leave, but that should never stop us from living life together. Lovig on one another, as well as working together. I confess I feel alone. But the good news is Jesus is here for me, and He is here for you too. #Alone #confession #Heishere
Confession 2: Its a Wednesday night and I've just got back from youth group. I am a leader in this group, but I will be honest I do not feel like one. Its not because of the kids, and it's not because of any authority (but my head tells me differently). I confess I am not the best leader and I do not claim to be. I try with everything to do what is needed and what I know God wants me to do for and with these kids. I confess I slip up and struggle a bit to get going to be who I need to be for them, but as a leader who has been through a thing or two just like them, I will not lie to them, as no leader should. But that isn't what I am confessing to. I am saying I am not a victim. Yes, life happens and the enemy bombards me everyday with my freshly desires and it is everything to hold on for dear life. I confess that I am not the victim because that is not who God has created me to be. He made me to be a fierce warrior, who fights for Him and people who do not know him. I confess that I make myself be the victim in some situations, but mostly I claim to be victimless which is just prideful. I confess that I make myself stronger and prouder than I am, push myself to sky and then tear myself down to the deepest trenches. I confess I am "Not all that and a bag of chips." I am not a victim. I am not someone who is pushed around. I am not forgotten. Because in Jesus Christ I am not victim, and neither are you. Why? Because we are his, and no one else's. #victimless #confession #self
Confession 1: I struggle with a dark sin. A couple of sins actually and it makes life harder to do. I almost always give in and when I try my hardest to fight it it's like the sin gets stronger. The need to have my flesh satisfied gets to the point it drives my mind insane. It makes me restless and I am unable to do anything. I will be honest, to rid myself of these feelings I try shoving earthly things in place to overcome it. But it never works, or only stops for awhile but then it comes back just as bad as before. The only solution by far that has worked is having my heart filled with the love of Jesus. I struggle, yes, but he makes it bearable everyday to live. I am nowhere in the category of perfect, but I will never stop trying to be what God has called me to be. Hi my name is WAY, and I struggle with my sins. I am not afraid to tell you my struggles. #confessions #struggle #sin
And now I just sit in silence. #twentyonepilots

Roads
I see two roads.
One leads off to the left and the other right. The one on the left is the right choice, while the right is the wrong choices we make in life.
We have a choice of which way to go. Maybe we are a little biased, or maybe someone or something is drawing us closer to one side or the other. But it is still our choice.
Are we going to go left or are we going to go right? Are we going to pursue pleasure, or are we going to pursue pain? Are we going to choose what is right, or are we going to choose what is RIGHT?
In reality, the thing that should be leading us in our direction is God. And God is good.
God is perfect.
God is love.
God is judge.
God is victorious.
But in reality we do not always choose God.
We choose other. We choose pleasure, Â we choose us. How selfish?
When a beautiful and awesome being chose us, while we choose ourselves.
Everyday. Every hour. Every minute and every second. We. Choose. Us.
You need to know that whatever path you take, whether the one that leads to God or leads you down a path of destruction and pain, God is with you. Â
But I will tell you that the road of destruction comes to a cliff, and at the bottom holds fire for eternity, and no hope of ever getting out. You will fall down the rabbit hole and never come back.
Following the right path, you will go on forever. And when your time to leave this earth to be in heaven comes you will still walk a path, one that will never end and will have love and praise and Jesus. You, will have the adventure of a lifetime. Literally.
So my question for you. Are you going to walk the pleasure filled life and thinking about yourself? Or are you going to suffer and be blessed beautifully on earth with your fellow believers  and for Christ, and in the end continue the walk in heaven?
This is your choice. But I suggest, make it a good one. And I also suggest, choose now. Because in reality, you don't have much time. The Lord is nearer than you think.
 So, which one?
Left or Right?
