I think both Samarie and Daan struggle with hypersexuality and compulsive masturbation in their own ways.

In Samarie's case it'd crash with her body image issues. I can see the hygiene decline and doing it at inappropriate times aspects of it to affect her the most. She'd also be prone to hurting herself in the process.

For Daan, OCD and PTSD shape his addiction. I believe he'd be more prone to sexual repulsion than Samarie.
