Francis huffed towards him, his stomach big enough to see the baby bump. It looked as big as six months already though it was only three months of age. He had been crying non stop the last few weeks…over the silliest things as well as he’s already began drinking blood. “H-He’s okay…?”

Francis smiled and nuzzled the child before getting tired. “Oh Gil… Could you kindly hold him for a while? My arms are aching and I still can’t move my legs.” He stated with slight sadness, just touching his paralyzed legs. He got teary eyed.

Gilbert carried the baby and held him close. Gui immediately bit his shoulder and drew blood, drinking the vampire's blood. Gil didn't mind though. He went over beside Francis and kissed his forehead. "Shhh.. Dont be scared.. Its just temporary okay? It'll come back.."

Francis huffed towards him, his stomach big enough to see the baby bump. It looked as big as six months already though it was only three months of age. He had been crying non stop the last few weeks…over the silliest things as well as he’s already began drinking blood. “H-He’s okay…?”

Everything was painful and heavy. His head was terribly painful and his vision spun the slightest. It was disorienting to be awake. He saw pale skin and red eyes as his half-open eyes scanned everywhere. With a small whimper and the hints of attempts in sitting up, Francis seemed to be struggling with awareness.

"What’s…. Going on?" He asked and looked down at himself. No bump and he was covered in bandages. "….where’s the…. Is the baby okay??"

Gilbert smiled and pressed him down gently, making sure he doesnt sit up at all. “Ja, relax. The baby is fine. He’s currently with Roderich just outside the room. I told him to stay out for a while because he’s been crying in Roderich’s arms. I’ll bring them in just a minute. First, I need to know if you’re alright. Can you try to move your arms please? And then your legs? Just as much as you can without hurting yourself.”

His arms were fine and he moved them cautiously as he was told to. God he felt so heavy. So far so good. Then he tried to move his legs.

He frowned.

They wouldn’t move. He tried again and there was nothing. He started to look panicked.

Gilbert looked at him and frowned before he started to massage his legs gently. “Can you feel my hands on your legs?” He then started to massage his hips to help with his joints. “I think you wont be able to walk for a while considering the amount of damage your lower half took.. But we’ll have to go to the doctors again to scan your bones okay?”

He couldn’t feel anything waist down. He saw those hands moving along his legs but felt nothing. He started to visibly panic, tearing up a bit. He panted and began to cry as he clung to Gilbert.

He can’t be paralyzed. He just can’t. This wasn’t fair.

Gilbert held him close and shook his head. He stroked his hair and wiped his tears away. “Francis.. Shhh.. Its okay.. This is just a temporary thing okay..? Youre not going to be lame.. I promise youre not going to be lame.. This is just temporary since your body is still healing okay?”

Roderich, however, couldn’t contain himself anymore and went inside, his face covered with little scratches and bite marks. “Your son hates me.”

The little vampire cried and squirmed from the Austrian’s hold, clearly not comfortable with having the other German hold him.

He then heard the small cry of the child and saw as the Austrian carried him over. His eyes locked on the baby and he slowly, unknowingly, let go of Gil. He watched it with wide eyes, as if he couldn’t believe he made part of the child.

He gently held his arms out and called out softly. “R-Roderich… Give him to me…please…” He mumbled. The child also reached for him as well.

Roderich nodded and gave the child to Francis, who eagerly clung to his mother tightly. The child suddenly stopped crying in his mother’s arms and snuggled close to him. Gilbert smiled and looked fondly at his family, just happy that they were finally together.

"Francis.. We havent thought of a name for our child yet.. Would you like to name him?"

He felt the small arms cling to him and he pressed soft kisses onto the child’s face. “My baby…” He then snuggled him tightly and looked at their beautiful baby. “Oh Gilbert he’s beautiful”

Gilbert kissed his cheek and held him close as he held onto the child. “I was thinking of Albert.. Or Guillian.. Or Alexander.. Probably Daniel or Damien too..” He thought of names, to which the child only laughed at. Their baby clung to Francis’ shirt and nibbled on his shoulder gently.

He held the baby lovingly, kissing it’s face over and over. There was an indescribable connection between the two of them. Francis was overwhelmed upon having a baby. He looked at the small infant and cooed at him whereas the other bit him on the arm. He groaned.

"Oh you little brat" he said, still strangely endearing. "You take that from your father." He looked at Gilbert and chuckled "What to name him? What do you think is your suitable name?"

Gilbert laughed as the other continued to nibble and suck on his mama’s shoulder. He stroked their son’s hair and smiled a bit. “Francis Guillian. That’s what I have in mind..” He leaned towards the child and poked his cheek. “Do you want that name?”

The child immediately giggled and shyly buried his face on his mama’s chest. “Guuu~”

At the mention of blood, the spaw-…child… Kicked and moved around in delight. Francis’s face contorted into pain and he moaned before rubbing his bruised stomach gently. “Blood is what the baby needs. He won’t let me rest until he gets what he wants.”

Gilbert nodded and slit his wrist a bit, letting the blood flow. He positioned his wrist at Francis’ mouth, kissing his cheek and letting him feed. “Feed, liebe.. It’s alright.. Just feed on me..” He then rubbed the stomach, helping to calm the vampire child down. “You’re due in a few weeks.. I’m excited!”

Francis began to suck at the wrist and drink heartily as the child began to calm down. He was just so tired all the time especially when the child doesn’t get enough fill. He pushed the wrist away when the baby had enough. He leaned towards Gil and sighed. “I’m excited but also tired”

Gil nodded and stroked his hair, kissing his cheek gently. “I know.. I understand.. It must be hard keeping a vampire spawn inside you.. But soon.. Very soon.. You wont have to bear that anymore.. And I’ll be able to help you care for him properly.. Hang on a little more okay?”

He nodded and smiled at him in exhaustion. The baby began to calm down and he sighed softly. Then suddenly a small pain began to start at the bottom part of his stomach. At first it was only an irritating pain. Then he felt it worsen and it feels like something tore a bit inside him. He moaned. “G-Gil…..painful…”

Gilbert blinked and saw that his water broke, or at least the equivalent of it. He quickly carried Francis to the room and called on Roderich, who was around the house that time. Roderich immediately asked Gil to get a bowl of warm water as he pulled Francis’ pants off for an emergency procedure.

"Alright Francis.. Push. Push hard. You’ll be okay just push!" Roderich opened his ass, trying to ease the baby out.

Francis felt the baby tear more of the tissues inside him. As he pushed, blood began to rush out of Francis and he pushed again. The baby seemed to know what it was doing and he could feel the head alone, nudge through his internals, tearing it’s way through him.

He was able to get the child up to the hole quickly before Roderich looked at Francis. “One more push. Please Francis. One more push.” Gilbert held his hand tightly and bit his bottom lip. Roderich quickly patched Francis up, stitching some of the torn tissues and fixing up his spine before putting morphine in his system. Then, after getting Francis cleaned up, he attached him to an IV and blood transfusion unit to help him recover.

He could tell Ludwig a million times that it wasn’t him. He could tell them he didn’t want to do it. He could keep trying to convince them that he was under someone else’s control but none of that matters. None of it matters. It happened through his hands still. He couldn’t change that. Ludwig will kill him.

He did as he was told and only kept away from Gilbert as possible. He didn’t even want to be brought along with them. He just called Ludwig so he could help Gil. They got to Roderich quickly, thanks to Ludwig.

As soon as they got there, he didn’t go near any of them but watched as they took Gil. He didn’t say anything, when nobody was looking, he stared at his hands.

He will never forgive himself for what he did. Never.

Gilbert was immediately brought inside the emergency room, stripped off his clothing to assess the damage. Roderich slipped in his arm a needle connected to a bag of vampire blood to increase the amount of blood he had in his veins. He scanned his chest and saw the wound and did all he could to save him.

Elizabetha went out of the kitchen and saw Francis just looking at his hands. She went beside him and sat, holding him in her arms before holding out a cup of hot chocolate. “Please drink, Francis. Right now, Gilbert needs your strength.”

Ludwig went out and saw Francis. He had already calmed down a bit and knelt in front of him. “F-Francis…. Please…. Tell me.. What happened…?”

He was blank. He shouldn’t be here. He shouldn’t even be here. Whatever or whoever that thing was should have just blown his mind out so he doesn’t have to live with the memory of…of doing that. It was so painful. It hurts so bad to think of what he did. He could only see that moment over and over. When the dagger hit. When he fell and bled. When he finally passed out.

He had barely touched the chocolate and soon buried his face in his hands. Why couldn’t he stop that? Nobody would believe him. Nobody would ever believe him. It was him who did it wasn’t it?

Was it over? Was it really over? Will that thing ever come back? When Ludwig’s voice rang out, he looked at him, ashamed. “….you will never believe me.”

Francis felt himself lose himself a bit as he felt those hands on him. He took a long breath and his face blanked out. For a long time, he said nothing. Then the smell registered into him and his eyes slowly turned a vivid red.

He began to growl. “Vampire.”

"I will kill you! I will kill every single one of your kind! Even if I have to kill this host to do it! I will kill you! All of you vampire scum!" He thrashed even wilder now, letting out a screech and resisting the binds so hard that the cuffs dug onto Francis’s flesh and started to bleed.

Francis felt a few seconds of control because of the pain and all he could mutter was “Make it stop-….” Before he completely blacked out and the creature took over, it’s expression of rage pointed towards Ludwig.

Ludwig frowned and grabbed a book from the shelf. He opened it and started to recite something in Latin. The incantation was a low blow to the invader. He was trying to get him back to a new book.

Elizabetha gulped and just watched Ludwig try to get the demon out of Francis. “C-Careful!”

"You are never going to do this to me!" The thing thrashed and the metal of the cuffs dug deeper into his wrist, red and bleeding already. He gave a loud screech and growled once more. "I will kill all of you! Mark my words you vampires…!"

Slowly, a red mark began to form into the book and glowed little by little. Finally, the symbol brightened and then faded into a Latin incantation on the page.

Francis’s skin slowly turned back to normal, perhaps just the slightest bit paler. His eyes returned to their normal color but was immediately covered by his lids and he blacked out.

Ludwig smiled and placed the book inside a safe. Then, he uncuffed Francis and carried him to the guest bedroom. Rubbing the wrists, he cleaned it off and bandaged it properly. “Elizabetha, inform Roderich. I’ll take care of him.”

Elizabetha nodded and went to Roderich, who had just finished with Gilbert for the time. Roderich had already started to patch GIlbert up, but he will need to operate on him a little more.

It took a while for the French man to come to and finally rouse even a bit. He felt like vomiting. It was just a feeling. He really didn’t need to vomit. He was so heavy and he felt like someone replaced his blood with liquefied lead. His wrists feel almost numb and his head spun as he thought more.

The bed was soft though and he turned on the bed to hug the sheets, that being a habit he’s developed for a while now. He was painfully comfortable.

He did remember what happened. Fuck. He tried to hurt Ludwig too. Would they avoid him now? Do they hate him? Would they allow him to see Gilbert still? Was Gilbert even going to be okay?

He tightly shut his eyes. He was so scared.

Ludwig went inside the room and noticed that he was awake. He had a tray of food with him. When he went closer to Francis, he placed his tray on the side table before sitting beside him. “Guten tag.. how are you feeling?”

He wasnt going to take it against Francis anymore. Not after learning what just happened. He did need to find out who in hell was the one who gave him the book. Or how it even got in his possession. Still, perhaps not now. After all, he had just woken up and still shaken.

He trembled as he heard Ludwig’s voice. He opened his eyes and stared at his banged wrists. Why was Ludwig even still talking to him. If Francis were him, he’s just kill this bastard who nearly killed his brother.

However, it would be rude to ignore him. He gave him a tired stare and took a breath. “I feel heavy…” He admitted before tearing up a bit. “I’m scared…”

He’s frightened and angry with himself. He’s confused. He didn’t know what to do. He was worried. “How is he? How is he Ludwig? I’m so scared. I’m so sorry…”

Ludwig shook his head and stroked his hair gently. "Hey, its okay.. Roderich still needs to fix him.. But he's alive. Barely.. But alive." He then kissed his hair and looked all over him. Francis was very good looking.

"You need to rest. When you're a little better, I'll take you to him, okay?"

Elizabetha walked in the room and smiled at Francis. "H-How is he?"
