typical sasha. indy should be used to the other girl putting the blame on anyone but herself by now, but somehow, her selfishness still managed to both shock and surprise her. god, imagine if theyâd somehow managed to work their shit out? indy was glad sheâd fucking dodged the bullet that was sasha and her mess. âi didnât do anything to you, sasha,â indy said, voice raising slightly as she fought back, âactually, all i did when you went âmissingâ was look for you and defend you, but all you care about is yourself. you keep digging a deeper hole for yourself every time you open your mouth.â
Sashaâs gaze narrowed on Indy, but her lips pulled just as tight. She stared at her, boiling with hatred for this woman who had done nothing but besmirch her name since the incident she wanted nothing more than to forget. Nobody in this town understood what she went to because of her father. From her very first breath, his name preceded her wherever she went, and it fucking suffocated her. Anyone would crack under the pressure, but of course when she finally did? She was only met with âcalled itsâ and âI told you sosâ. Even from Indy, one of the very few people she thought she could trust. The memory of the betrayal wrenched her heart over itself again, and Sasha lost all care for her again.
âFuck you, Indy. Youâre nothing but a heartless bitch, and Iâm just making everyone in the town see that before itâs too late like it was for me.â
