how do you stay in love with someone when you know it's going to be the hardest thing in the world to keep up a long distance relationship while not being a bother to them?

HOW DO YOU STAY IN LOVE?

how you stay in love?? i don’t know. i write love letters to the phone. i save up all of my good stories. i snapchat. i Skype. staying in love isn’t going to be your problem. it’s all of the little hassles that come along with distance like not being able to roll over in the bed and curl up around them and not always having great cell service and anxiety and??? when you are in a solid relationship with someone, long distance is still HARD. but it’s not an impossible thing with a little patience, and a lot of understanding. if your partner is legitimately “bothered” by you trying to keep in contact with them, then it’s probably not going to work out, okay? you need to TALK ABOUT IT. but you also need to make some allowances– like I mean, you can’t expect them to be available whenever you want them to be, and you know what sometimes you’re going to have to settle for fifteen minute phone calls while you’re hiding in the bathroom stall at work and they’re stuck in traffic two thousand miles away from you. 

but it’s doable. 

you just tough it out until you don’t have to anymore.
