We all have to play roles sometimes. The wild and free person dancing in the moonlight isn’t the one that shows up for a business meeting. But if you pretend too long, you risk losing who you really are. You risk losing the essence of that woman who feels like dancing.

If you conform to fit in, or change parts of yourself to get friends, then you change who you really are at your core. Who you were created to BE.

Each person was created to be unique. To express their essence authentically. Unfortunately, society has made it almost impossible to do this. But don’t let them win. Be who you are anyway.

I often wondered why they were so afraid of the witches of wisdom instead of the men who burned them at stake. Then I realized that the witches didn't fit to what society thought was normal, and that those that want to control what that is will do anything to make it happen.
