Trance Suggestions

So I was thinking about the process of inducing trance (in other people as well as yourself) and specifically how “bypassing your mental guardians” is absolutely key.

What I mean by “bypassing mental guardians” is that to induce trance quickly you want to distract the conscious mind. It might be a contradictory statement “Water can be pretty dry some days wouldn’t you agree?” Or asking the participant to press firmly on your arm. You want to engage the conscious mind with something mundane but also something that requires some level of concentration.

Depending on how susceptible to suggestion someone is - a simple act like that might be enough to give a suggestion. When I hypnotized @shadofoxxy in @foone’s car this was enough. But in other cases the easing into the trance state starts as soon as communication between the two parties begins and can take upwards of 15 minutes before you see results.
