[Alfred rolled his eyes, holding in the urge to laugh. If the American really wanted to find out where Avius’s apartment is, he would have found it already. He was quite happy to hear he was getting a copy of the information they found though. He wanted the name of the woman. He wanted to find out her strength and weaknesses. Everything. It was obvious to tell that he was indeed not a fan of the stranger and he wasn’t overly fond of the way she was looking at him either.]
[To be honest, Alfred would have killed the woman then and there if Avius wasn’t present. And if there’s a next time where he gets a chance, he surely wouldn’t waste it.He couldn’t have Avius’s enemies following after him when he had his own things to handle in this city. And if they dared to try and get in his way, their fate was sealed.]
Lead the way the way then. [He gestured his arms for the ex-assassin to walk ahead of him and take the lead. Alfred would follow behind him, of course. ]
Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to roll your eyes. -He wasn't even looking at the american, but he could practically hear his eyes rolling to the back of his thick skull. Pushing past the american, he took the lead once more. It only took 10 minutes to reach the town once more, but it was clear the Brit was deep in his thoughts, stumbling every once in a while, then acting like nothing happened. The whole time, his hand was either tracing the scar on his cheek, or resting at his hip, worrying at the skin beneath his belt-
-They finally reached an apartment complex, where several kids let out a screech and flocked around the Brit's legs, hugging him, or spewing out nonesense to him. In a flick of a switch, Avius was grinning ear to ear, giving each kids a pat on the head- You guys are being good, right? I'll be back out tomorrow to play, alright guys? -After the promise, they let out shrieks and cheers before running off, leaving the assassin to stand there grinning, shaking his head slowly-
-Remembering the american was behind him, his face turned red and began to rub at the back of his neck- Their parents work days.. So, I uh.. Stay with them to keep them company, and make sure they're out of trouble.. L-let's just go.. -strides off, refusing to look behind him. Reaching the entrace, he waved to the clerk before walking to the Elevator, punching in the key for the top level-
