Boundary and disclaimer post!!!

Hi, mod pew here to talk to you tumblr user before we start asking and answering questions! I, the mod, will often speak my thoughts in the tags, I’ve done this with other blogs as well lol.

Anywho, here’s some rules and boundaries! Any failure to abide by these rules will result in your ask being ignored.

1) penumbra is NOT a canon character!! She doesn’t exist inside the canon!!! And dont harass the developers about making her a canon character that’s weird

2) she is made to be shipped with the player or y/n (that’s you!) though I’d appreciate minors to not flirt with her, as she is an adult (you can still be friendly with her!!)

3) if you flirt with penumbra, keep it pg! Pretty please!

4) you CAN ship her with other block tales characters aside from Player, like griefer. Just, again, don’t be a proshitter/darkshitter, she’s an adult who’s attracted to adult characters

5) if you want to draw her, go right ahead!! I love it when people draw my ocs

6) don’t harass people! I say this on all my blogs, just don’t do that it’s not cool

7) I trust you guys to be normal about this lalala

8) uhhhh HAVE FUN!!!! This blog is joyous and whimsical

I’ll come up with more when the need arises. In the meantime, have fun!!

(Hey psst. Penumbra. I'm breaking the 4th wall to say this but be careful with this little one. He's been alone all his life and has no idea how to regulate his emotion.)

A lost child, maybe nine to twelve years old(?), approaches you. The child looks frightened. Very scared to talk, as well.

- A lost child (and partially Raine/j Ok I'll stop breaking the 4th wall)

(I'm having the most difficult time ever typing any of this rn cause I'm really jittery 😔😔)

“Hello… are you lost?”

(She crouches down, making herself look more inviting)

hey pretty lady. whatcha doin. so, i slips and falls over GOD DAMMIIt

(A large hand comes out of the shadows, catching you)

“Darling, are you okay?”

“I… I guess? Was there something I needed to be distracted from?”

“I beg your pardon?”

(She watches you dance for a little bit)

“Uh..?”

*Sage eventually flopped down out of exhaustion, the zoomies wearing off*

*Sundew quietly stirred awake, her fever calming down*

(Griefer scooped up Sage, taking her to the bathroom)

Penumbra: are you feeling any better?

Player: Fuh no… it’s about time she got some sleep.

(They sat on the floor, sipping some tea)

Penumbra: we’re managing it the best we can, for now.

*Sage scurried around the cabin, playfully evading Griefer*

Griefer: G3T B4Ck H3RE!!

(It was almost comedic how he chased after the slugcat)

Oh wow you really think she’s gonna die this time?

Player: ….maybe. I don’t know, I’ve been overthinking a lot.

(They stand up, penumbra pulling their red coat from the shadows and putting over their shoulders)

Player: thanks… I’m gonna make some tea.

Penumbra: here, don’t forget your gloves, I know it’s hard to move your hands

Player: thanks, pen

Sure… What’s with the eggs and “tea”?

Player: oh, those? They’re all revival items.

*Sage blinked at Griefer before sticking her tongue out*

Waaaa!! Xp

*Sundew slept soundly despite her mind literally doing flips and having bizarre dreams*

(fever dreams really have me questioning reality 😔)

(Griefer stuck out his tongue in response, chasing after Sage)

(Penumbra and player quietly relaxed, seeing as she was asleep)

Player surely she’s not that worth it for you to freeze to death

Player: I’m not going to freeze, I’ll be okay.

(Penumbra takes the ice dagger from them, allowing them to warm back up)

*Sage paced around before waddling out the bathroom*

*Sundew reached for and gently squeezed Player’s cold hand, going back to sleep*

Griefer: h3y, g3t b4ck h3r3!

(He walks after Sage)

(Player and penumbra shut up their conversations, just being quiet so she could rest. Player could feel their fingers getting numb and frosted over…)

But what if she’s dying again

Player: it’s okay I came prepared

(Penumbra takes a peak at their inventory. Aside from a few banana splits, there was eggs, hot leaf water, and first aid kits.)

Penumbra: you know that won’t…

(They look up at her, clutching the ice dagger)

Penumbra: ah.

*Sage let herself be carried but tilted her head at being brought to the bathroom*

Wa?

Mmm no… *She honestly looked and felt like shit*

(Griefer turned on the water to the bathtub)

Griefer: b4th t1m3 f0r y0u.

Penumbra: that’s fair…
