Valentine’s Day is coming soon and to celebrate that amongst the Shadowhunters fandom here, I thought it would be nice to have a Secret Valentine’s Exchange*! The goal is to facilitate a gift exchange between people in the Shadowhunters fandom in order to spread some love. Participants will create a gift (e.g. gifs, fic, fanart, etc.) for another blogger and will receive a special gift in return!

You must be able to make a gift for another user (see gift guidelines here and below for more information).
You must have a tumblr account.
Please don’t reveal yourself to your giftee until your gift is posted (it’s a secret exchange! :) but definitely feel free to send messages on anon to your giftee and talk to them! On that note, please make sure your anonymous option is turned on (if you have it off for specific reasons please indicate this in the “Anything else?” on the form and we can try to work around it as needed).

SCHEDULE
January 12th: sign-ups open
January 24th: sign-ups close
January 25th: assignments sent out and confirmation (from you) that you have received your assignment
February 14th: gifts finished and posted to your blog
This schedule allows for three weeks to create the gifts but please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to stay on schedule or need to drop out so I can make sure everyone gets a gift on time.
GIFTS:
Must be related to Shadowhunters.
Can be but doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day-themed (or specific to a certain ship). In the message with your assignment there will be some characters/ships/requests your giftee likes (as well as ones they don’t want). You are not required to incorporate every request, this is just meant to inspire you and help you create your gift.
Please tag your giftee directly in the text of your gift when posting on the 14th.
