Is it normal to be mad about the “Detroit” trailer because the protagonist is a white blonde skinny robot girl?

Oh geez, i thought this was satire at first, but then a realised you were serious. For tthose of you who dont know, Detroit: Become Human is the finished version of a PS3 Tech Demo from 3 years ago, Kara. She was always white, is modeled after a real life white woman, a decision that was made years ago. Also, Quantic Dreams, a French dominated studio, is probably mostly made up of mostly whites (correct me if I’m wrong). There are still PoC’s featured in the trailer tho, and Quantic Dreams games usually have multiple player characters so theres some hope. 

Point is, the character’s race doesnt make or break the game, please stop worrying about it. Mafia 3 is coming soon, and has a Mocha African MC if thats important to you, so get hyped for that.. As a Native American-Mexican myself, it bugs me when people complain about there being too many whites in games, when there are plenty of games that have PoC MC’s or even character creators to choose from. Don’t try and tell artists to change their visions is basically what im saying. Its their art, let then do their thing. If you want representation, make your own. Don’t take others’.

I don’t see why me being tired of seeing white skinny girls in videogames is “changing the artist vision” and I will always complain, they could have made a white male too, but show him naked and vulnerable?? Never

It had to be a skinny girl that looks like a twelve year old, I mean, what’s the problem with that right? Im pretty sure if someday these type of cyborgs are real they would definetly respond to pedophilic beauty canons.

I will always worry as I worried about Quiet when it first came out, don’t tell me if I should or shouldn’t express my opinion on some other male-oriented character

I wasnt even talking about sizes. I was talking about race. Also, “They show her naked and vulnerable”. Go play the witcher. “she’s too skinny”. Go play infamous Last Light. “she’s too blond” go play tomb raider. “she’s not a combination of fat/poc/ambiguous gender/etc” go play Until Dawn, Any game with a character creater, or make your own.

What problems? I see no problem with it. If your problem is “too many skinny white people”, then that is a personal problem, and my point is, not everything in the world is made to satisfy your every taste and preference. As a PoC, i got upset, because I’m tired of PoC’s being treated as objects or labels, instead of being treated as people. That’s literal racism. Stop complaining about the lack of things, and start embracing the inclusion of other things. If your idea of “bringing x up” is “beating y down”, then you have a serious issue.

Nico Robin is one of my favorite female characters from the anime One piece , her devil fruit power is awesome as she can make her hands grow from anything , so creative !*_* anyways this is my take on her 2 years later in the anime. I also want to paint her in her younger days as well . her face is very sculpted looking, but i think a ¾ view would work better XD  next time I’ll go with that view instead of a front view, that was my bad . Also, trying to be as close as i can to that one piece anime proportion style !
