WIP! (Work In Progress) I’ve been wanting to work on more full scenes, and this one just kinda came to me. This character was inspired by a tiefling we met in the pathfinder campaign that my husband runs. What do you think so far?

I just had to draw Beau with the story delving into her past and her family lately.
I got inspired when my hubby and I started playing Classic WoW, so I decided to draw our main characters. I've been playing warcraft games since I was a little kid playing warcraft 1 on a floppy disk, so it's nice to come back to it after so many years. WoW was also a big part of our relationship before and during our dating years, so it brings back soooo much nostalgia for me.
Do you or have you played WoW at some point? If so, did it have a big impact on you?
Artists: Do you prefer to draw line art of something first and then color it in, or start with a gray scale painting and color over that, or perhaps paint color right from the get-go? I honestly haven't decided which process I prefer. I'm practicing all of them until I can find what works best for me.
A watercolor rose, because they're so fun to paint.
Painted this awhile back. Should I paint more watercolor flowers?
A friend commissioned an oil painting of Morro Rock, California. I had some struggles getting a composition that I liked on this size canvas. Always a pleasure to have an excuse to pull out my oil paints though! I feel like I make strides of improvement with each painting.
Trying out procreate for the first time! I absolutely love how uncomplicated and intuitive it feels. Had a lot of fun drawing this.
I want to develop the habit of sketching more, so I took the advice in a video I saw by Walid Feghali about practicing sketching various things over the course of 2 weeks. Today I used Procreate to sketch plants around my yard.
I’m learning how to paint concept landscapes!! This is my first attempt. I really enjoyed creating an environment out of my imagination. :)
