Loot Case â A Predictable Fun Film
There are films that donât mislead you through their trailers, #LootCase is one of such films. What it promises with its trailer, it exactly delivers the same and at places a little better.
With multiple characters that have their distinctive style, personalities and diction; the film is smartly written. The script, storytelling and execution of Loot Case are engaging and entertaining.
Performance wise, Kunal Khemmu, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Raaz, Gajraj Rao and Ranvir Shorey played their parts well. And this wasnât the first time they were portraying such interesting characters. Smart casting already won half the battle in the case of Loot Case and the remaining was supported by witty one liners and twists in the script.
From the trailer I sensed that Iâll be watching a film similar to Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Delhi Belly or Oye Lucky Lucky Oye etc. And to my surprise the film is as interesting as the ones I mentioned and thought of. If you are looking for a light-hearted film that gives you laughter, some realistic performances and enjoyable moments then go watch Loot Case. It is predictable but earnestly dealt with.
The direction of Loot Case is engaging and there are times when it feels predictable also, but Loot Case is not a film where you should be investing your mind a lot. It is a simple, entertaining film with some ups and downs.
