Our brains, the CPU of the civilization, are capable of generating thoughts and ideas,of which the significance can vary on a great scale. Millions of thoughts,let it be useful or not, are being manufactured in the kiln of our brain, flooding and rendering our craniums filled.

We can easily discard thoughts that are not so utile because thoughts are merely ideas; wisps of concepts. But what if each and every thought of yours had a mass to it; giving it the ability to tamper with physical world and change physical properties? Wouldn't this be a sane explanation to explicate supernatural and mystical phenomenons?

When a particular item or object or thing has a mass, it also exerts gravity. For an example; every grain of sand has a mass therefore wields gravity. What if we take trillions of these sand grains and let them attract one another to form,let's say, moon their combined gravity is enough to move oceans and drag tides back and forth.

Same implementation, our thought exerts gravity. What will happen if people start focusing on the same thought? All the thoughts will merge into one, and the cumulative mass of the thought grows,giving a measurable effects in our physical world. The fact that thought can have tangible measures, we have barely scratched the surface of our mental and spiritual capabilities.

It doesn't just interfere in our world-the middle world. It delves all the way into the subatomic realm,where everything is un-graspable. Particles are speculated among physicists,to appear solely on one's intention,giving way to the possibilities where we can be the masters of our own brain and universe.

The next time someone disrupts your slumber day dreaming by saying,"Come back to reality", you can definitely retort by saying," How is reality different from dreaming?".

It's true, what's going on right now in front of you is seriously not what it appears to be. The reality can easily be altered,making reality not so different from dream. What is reality exactly? Most definitions will roughly translate to the state of being actual or real. How can one determine the realness of a situation,if reality differs from an individual to another? The reality of a bee is different from a human as their vision is bathed in UV light-as a mode of survival. The blue you may view may not be blue to another person. Therefore it all boils down to the software programming in the brain. If a particular package is not embedded in the blueprint in your brain, your reality must be so dissimilar to the others. This also inevitably give way to the upsetting theory where we do not have a free will and everything is running based on a default setting.

If you were told to close your eyes and reminisce on one of your favorite snippet from your childhood, you can even list out the chronology of the event,because you have been there,yes? But no you were not there. Our bodies,as matter, only flow from time to time,making it that we were never actually there.

All these happenings may only be an illusion created in your brain-maybe you'll find yourself waking up in an alternate universe. Or maybe this is all someone else's dream. Like Douglas Adams hopes, whoever who is dreaming of our reality, I sure hope it is a good one.

To accompany the speck of a dot called the Earth, the moon exists alongside,diligently orbiting around our planet,giving us a night not only just filled with glimmering dust. It provided us light,though sourced by the sun, it was these narrow strobes of moonlight which have kept alive all the love stories,poems and love itself. It kept gazers mesmerized of its one sided beauty, for we will never know her other face. Despite being pockmarked due to interstellar ramming, the moon will always remain as hanging masterpiece in the canvas of the night sky,fueling our curiosity for eras to come.

Science can be used as the most accurate and biggest example in the predicament, where almost every object that exists on the face of Earth has a distinction and property of its own. The ripples that appear while you boil water have its own specific name. The reason the sky is blue has its own equation pertaining to it. The whiteness of your nail bed depends on the content of protein in your body. Science teaches us not to look at anything with sense of reluctance, as even the simplest things have their own complexity.

Another staggering example to fit the same plight is crumpled paper. Paper being widely verdant in everybody’s life, may hardly be a subject of interest or attention. However it has an attribute that baffles even the most sophisticated computers.

Take a sheet of an A4 paper, crumple it up with all your might and toss it someone. This may come off as trivial, but this scrunched up ball contains mysteries more profound than you think there are. You will notice a conversion in the solidity of matter because paper being flimsy, it is studier when it is in the form of ball.

A trifling question has a trifling answer, some may conceive. But this was not one of those matters. How can a sheet of paper become an accountably hard projectile by the act of crushing? Embarked on quest for explanation, physicists at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, are trying to unravel the enigmatic problem.

This crumpled paper contains 90% of air and fractals where one crumpled ball is no where even close to being similar to another crumpled ball. How does the unintended stiff architecture find its way through? It's technically possible to compress them further but that will take a lot more force because the crumpled sheet increasingly opposes the external force as it's crushed.

The experiment has a hope in finding a solution if computer science and X-Ray mapping with more technology advancement , to study the patterns formed, from which equations can be brought into the picture. However, the rays are bounced off the paper rather than staying, giving scientists difficulty in studying the shape. However, with the equipment in hand, they have discovered that the patterns within are in orderly fashion , not random.

A pending solution for the time being would be, the paper absorbs the exerted pressure and vibrations, thus changes it into the stiffness of the ball.

The scientists were quoted of saying,” I love it that these simple-looking problems are so nasty sometimes.”

If there is a question longer and more grandiloquent than the existent of mankind, it surely has to be about the presence of extraterrestrial denizens around us. For eons,right when our ancestors were busy discovering the simplest elements that fabricates our cosmos till scientists colliding subatomic particles to recreate the Big Bang situation, this question has been lingering enticingly. Effort to put a period to this has been perpetual, now aided with even more technology.

But what if one day, we do find out, that we're not alone in this sooty realm? What if we are here on the condition of sharing space? Would it change our reality?

Will our people take it as it is and venture further with beckoning optimism? Or will fear creep into our society's crevices,with possible threat and adversity rising on the horizon? Will it give way to a newer prediction of the Earth's demise or will this signal the opening of a brand new chapter for mankind on the whole?

..Or are we destined to just keep searching?

Science continues to tackle itself,from time to time. The whole ideology of massive meteoroids that fatefully wiped off living beings from the face of Earth 440 millions ago is now spanning into a slightly more intricate theory- gamma rays are now suspected to be the culprits.

Originating from thousands of light years, these portentous outbursts might be stars meeting their demise in cluster forms rather than individually.Based on the number of star clusters in the Milky Way and the rate of gamma-ray bursts in them, scientist calculate one probably exploded within striking distance of Earth at least once in the past billion years.

The European Space Agency's Gaia star mapper, expected to launch in 2013, could track the guilty cluster down. By correlating data of speed and position of these surmised clusters, if similarities are found,then maybe we will have a new,more viable answer to the pending question.

When was the last time you've witnessed a formation of a new religion? Certainly not recently. But here's a chance to observe a contemporary religion being granted legal permission to pass as an official religion.

Founded by a 19 year old, philosophy student hailing from Sweden, Kopimism is the latest addition to list of religions,after it was formally recognized by the Swedish government. This establishment took 3 attempts in one year in order to be recognized due to dogmatic formalities.

Kopimism gives an entirely new definition to religion as it does not mention at all about faith in God or anything along these lines. They dwell on the sanctity of information and copying it. Like Om (ॐ),the nazalized vowel-chant of Hinduism, Ctrl-V and Ctrl-C are the cantillates of Kopimism. Their rituals of "worshipping" include sharing files of information.

While asked the young pioneer, his stance on file sharing is interesting as he deems the sharing of information as a faith rather than an activity or passion. He believes all information and files must be made available and legal to all people.

The way of our humanity works, certainly gives a path to bafflement and astonishment.

It was a fawn,oak-made door that stood locked in the passage, dilapidated by the moving of time and memories. Everyone passes by it but occurred to none of what lies behind,what secrets it held. Located at the back of the perantique kitchen, it looked barren and tired as it seems to be concealing a mystery for so long,but nobody is concerned. Until the day,the key was jammed into its mouth,locks turned and the dusty zephyr breathed through. A sigh of relief.

The door made way into a whole..not so new but it certainly brings out term "antique". It was a geometrically perfect,circular room which seems like it was moulded by hand with no hitch at all. The walls' shimmering gold paint was peeling off,revealing the gray crevices left corroded by solitude. From the precise centre of the rotund ceiling,dangled quixotically a 60s chandelier which was made of the purest,refracting gems in the shapes of solitaire cuts,ones you find on celebrities' digits. The whole room seemed to have taken out from a snippet of a monochromic movie. Although everything is fading and obscure, my new hideaway wished to convey something.

Stepping forward, the multishaped frames on the evanescent walls came into focus. Images my brain found hard to recept and decipher. Each frame propagated a visual of a red embellished lipped lady,with angel-like hair cascading downwards embracing a built,young man whose eyes are filled with poetry. So much of love poems,more than words that would bleed from a poet's fingers. The vibes given out from this compact couple were resonating across the room,although generations have passed on. The ambiance was intoxicating and was luring in for more. More questions,more curiosity,more suspense. Who is this couple? How in love were they? It felt like I've inhaled too much of the amour zen in,it rendered me love drunk.

The walls was laden with their images,prancing,dancing in the rain,smiling right into the viewer's heart. The floor was blanketed in dust worth years,yet the room did not choke the occupant. Instead, it emanated a sweet,odoriferous smell of dried roses and undying love stories. There was no light in this room, but a single ray of sunlight furtively snuck through,keeping all the tales alive within. Feeling the silhouette of the key against my skin, this was going to be my secret now.

Waiting for sleep to come whisk me away into a different dimensional realm isn't so tedious nowadays. With the soft angels in the celestial world up there,looming, playing their harps of perpetual mysteries,serving as my pillow, and the warmth of the sooty eternity of universe covering my body, anticipation hadn't been this enduring.

When the lights of the burning stars slowly dim down in my swirling room, my dreams are bursting with concealed secrets in form of shapes,colours and textures,all engulfing me into illusions within illusions. The hazy past,present and future gaze at me with salubrious smirk with stars twinkling in their eyes. Dwindling obscure clouds dance in the language of arts,sheathing my window panel.

We're nothing but toys,being moved around by the universe's desire. And I don't mind being the toy.

Our genus is not only just constantly flummoxed by the mysteries elicited by the levitating,parallel world above us, but of what we have down here as well.

Bermuda Triangle or Devil's Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and surface vessels allegedly disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Firstly,people actually thought that it was a fabricated myth like many others, refusing to believe its existence as it is not marked "officially" in their atlas maps. However, checking and tallying with the inscrutable number of vanishing of people and ships,it IS a real place.

As it is in our very genes the ability to sensationalize and hyperbolize the most negligible information,popular culture have attributed these mysteries to many other created fables like immersed triangles,Lochness Monster,alien portals and the list dribbles on ceaselessly. But recent oceanographers have speculated an  explanation where it is nothing but the presence of large fields of methane hydrates (a form of natural gas) on the continental shelves.The bubbles can, indeed, sink a scale model ship by decreasing the density of the water;  any wreckage consequently rising to the surface would be rapidly dispersed by the flowing water. This is just one.

However, the most interesting of all is, History Channel has regarded this phenomenon as the existing of wormholes-the shortcut through spacetime- which are theoretically located in the universe. This type of gateways could probably exist on earth but on smaller scale such as in the areas of Bermuda Triangle and the Zona de Silencio in Mexico with the help of strange electromagnetic levels in certain areas.

Maybe we would have a more pragmatic solution to this, but the underlying possibility itself renders jitters.

As an overzealous supporter of any positive space project and an avid admirer of Neil degrasse Tyson,it somehow felt that I needed to create awareness of persona like him and the problems we take for granted.

This video above is an effigy of the predicament we have, where space explorations are treated like nothing more important but an ornament to a country's profile. But no. It is more than that. If we could cauterize trillions of tax payers' money in form arms,weapons and civilians' deaths, we could invest in finding out what else the skies above us have to offer for us. You never know when it's handy.
