Hey I’m only reblogging this to say please do not watch Laurence Anyways if you’re looking for good representation of trans women. 

It was written and directed by a cis gay man and the main character Laurence (a trans woman) is played by a cis male actor. Not only that but Laurence is portrayed as an emotionally abusive, manipulative stalker towards her cis female girlfriend. It’s an absolute transmisogynist train wreck of a film masquerading as art.

Recommending this movie as positive representation is false advertising and, frankly, irresponsible as many people (especially young trans girls) could be triggered by the content.
