Honestly I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a skam remake. I love them all but I was honestly taken back watching the druck season 5 trailer. It just felt so real? I might be jumping the gun I know but something about the aesthetic just hit and after looking through all of their instagrams I feel similar. So far these seem like kids I could totally see myself being friends with. Just average ass teenagers that dance around in rainbows and drape their arms over their friends and run around like they own the world when really they’re just getting by and trying not to lose control. The messy hair and differnt makeup looks and the way they were all styled really just stood out to me. Skam has always been pretty good at making teens look like teens but they usually do that by just having them all wear basic stuff. NL really changed the game by giving each character a pretty specific aesthetic and I’m excited to see druck following suit! They all seem so unique, it’s really cool. Kinda a weird thing to get all gushy over but my senior year is off to a really bad start and seeing this trailer really sparked some joy! I can’t wait until it starts, I really hope I’m not let down (though I don’t think I will be because while druck isn’t perfect by any means each season has been overall really great in my eyes and I trust that even if they stumble they won’t completely drop the ball! I know I will enjoy something about the season even if it’s not as good as the previous ones:)
