Korean Phrases for ASTRO!

ASTRO’s Names and Calling Conventions
It’s great to use ASTRO’s names in your tweets and messages! Here are their names in Korean.
MJ: 엠제이
Jinjin: 진진
Cha Eunwoo/Eunwoo: 차은우/은우
Moonbin: 문빈
Rocky: 라키
Yoon Sanha/Sanha: 윤산하
If you’re referring to ASTRO directly, you’ll want to use their system for calling someone! In general, the usual way to talk to someone who you don’t know well is by using their name + 씨. This shows you’re being polite. Feel free to attach this to the end of any of their names. However, there’s more you can do.
If you’re younger than a member, you can use the terms 오빠 or 형! Attach 오빠 after their name if you’re a girl, and 형 if you’re a guy!
If you’re the same age as ASTRO or older than them, you don’t need to use these honorifics. Just use their names directly!
Compliments and Health!
Everybody loves a good compliment, and it’s great to remind ASTRO that we care about their health! Here are some phrases you can use for ASTRO.
잘 생겼어요. = You’re handsome.
왜 그렇게 잘 생겼어요? = Why are you so handsome?
대단해요. = You’re incredible.
미소가 좋아해요. = I like your smile.
너무 귀여워요. = You’re so cute.
조심해요. = Take care./Be careful.
어제 잘 잤어요? = Did you sleep well?
식사 거르지 마세요. = Don’t skip meals.
밥 먹었어요? = Have you eaten?
Encouragements, Love, and Reassurance!
You can give ASTRO some cheering words and tell them you love them in a variety of ways! Try some of these.
화이팅/파이팅 = Fighting
힘내요! = Cheer up!/Have strength!
좋은 하루 보내요. = Have a good day.
걱정하지 마세요. = Don’t worry.
진짜 잘했어요. = You did really well.
사랑해요. = I love you.
저한테 많이 소중해요. = You mean so much to me.
