1. Ichigo introduced Renji, Rukia, and Byakuya to pot.

2. Yoruichi has at least one embarrassing photo of Byakuya romancing Kenpachi and she will hold it over his head until one of them dies.

3. Kenpachi knows Yumichika's zanpakuto is kido based and gives exactly zero fucks.

4. Everyone and their mother knew Yoruichi liked Soi Fon back before Soi Fon figured it out.

5. Rangiku and Nanao have been doing it on the dl behind the scenes since they first saw each other.

6. Shunsui cries when he finds out.

7. Shunsui and Ukitake are married. Only Unohana was invited to the ceremony. Yamamoto officiated.

8. Hisagi, Kira, and Renji run a Himbo support group. Everyone else is trying to shut it down because they are crazy and do not deserve to be supported in their shenanigans.

9. Urahara ran insane experiments on himself and can no longer get it up.

10. Grimmjow and Ichigo think nobody knows they are hooking up. They are wrong. Everyone is concerned.

11. Harribel tries to have a safe sex talk with Grimmjow and it goes about as well as you would expect it to.

12. Grimmjow is constantly baffled by all the weird systems of bigotry humans have managed to come up with.

13. There is a running betting pool on how long Renji and Rukia can delay confessing their feelings. Byakuya is winning.

14. Yumichika and Hisagi have fucked at least once.

15. Hisagi left traumatised.

Soul Society is failing those it promises to protect. His sister, sometimes, is a mystery to him. The Central 46 remain a persistent source of irritation. And too many people lie about way too many things.

Also, Kenpachi Zaraki keeps following him around.

In fairness, Byakuya is also sleeping with him.

Though he would like to make it clear that this is NOT a serious relationship. It is simply a mutually beneficial arrangement, between two consenting adults, who happen to find each other attractive.

There is no reason to overthink it. None, whatsoever.

Unfortunately, Byakuya is shit at not overthinking things.

I haven't seen it talked about (as there seems to be only a little discussion of it on here so far) but one of the things I love love love about The Residence is that she gives up on the investigation.

Cordelia Cupp, world's best detective, who solves the unsolvable, gives up... because she prioritizes the reputation and livelihood of a man she respects and who respects and supports her in turn. Chief Dokes knows that continuing to pursue the case will mean the end of his career, but he says nothing... until she asks. She asks. She knows that there are consequences to her dogged pursuit of the truth, she asks about them, and despite the fact that Chief Dokes is willing to accept those consequences, she says "I'm not."

In a genre that is often characterized by detectives who keep pursuing the case to the ends of the earth - consequences and fallout be damned - I am desperately in love with this character who is blunt and clever and justifiably arrogant and still shows such compassion to those who support her to say "I will not ask this price of you, even if you're willing to pay it, because what you built your life around is more important than finding my answer."

We have multiple anecdotes through the series about her obsessiveness and indefatigable pursuit of her goals and unwillingness to give up until they're achieved, and yet she will not throw over Chief Dokes for the sake of seeing this thing through.
