FINALLY getting around to writing my YoruSoi To All The Boys I've Loved Before AU for YoruSoi weekend over at @theseireitei so long after I first thought it up. I am so excited! I hope lots of people enjoy it as much as I am going to enjoy writing it 🐝

The speed at which I finished my YoruSoi TATBIHLB AU just proves procrastination ceases to be a thing when I write for my OTP. Exhaustion? Don't know her. This baby getting finished within a couple of days and that's on that.

Soi Fon has not led a life that allows for vanity.
Growing up, she had never considered herself beautiful, or stopped to think about what it meant to not be so. Pretty eyes and broad shoulders won’t help her protect her princess, after all.
Everything she loved about herself, she did because Yoruichi did and Yoruichi loved her hair. She enjoyed petting it, sweetly, gently, on moonlit nights under a shower of sakura petals.
… and so, Soi Fon took a blade to them, the day she took her place. It was the only way she could begin to breathe again.
