College life as a freshman at HPU! :)

As I sit here in the music tech lab at the DMC, all of these thoughts come into mind about my time here so far as a freshman at HPU. I'm about to start my 7th week here! Time flies! Man, I've had the time of my life. HPU is everything I ever wanted and more. The best part, is that this school wasn't even on my list of schools to consider attending. Crazy how God places you in certain places where you never thought you'd end up at. I never thought that I'd ever meet the people I've met, or done the things I've done, or would've had as much school spirit as I do. I was never this enthusiastic about school in all my years of schooling(well, I was pretty spirited in high school on certain occasions.. not as much as college though). I love the Yellow Jacket Band SO much! I've met so many amazing people, and I know that I've already began forming friendships not like any other! I'm really interested in the Sorority, Tau Beta Sigma and I would love to be a part of it someday. :) I'm a music education major which is so much fun, but also overwhelming, and super demanding, but I absolutely love it! I could go on and on about band and my major ... Anyways, I'm just super stoked about what's to come, and watch God's plan for me to unravel and take action! I have a TON more to say, but I'll save that for another time. I could probably write a book about my experience so far, and I haven't even been here for a semester! Haha that's gotta mean something, right? Hope I didn't waste your time if you actually took some to read this.. STING 'EM!!! :)
