I think many people miss how comfortable Hinata is with his femininity and enjoys activities that considered traditionally feminine.
Aside from having a naturally nurturing and caring personality.
He also seems to have enjoyed the baking meeting up enough to want to stay a little longer.
Things like pop music and romance books, he doesn't shy away from engaging with it. Although it'd be hard to say he prefers it over other genres.
There are also many moments in non-canon/semi-canon materials where he can be seen engaging in activities that usually resonates with girls.
Like reading fashion magazines that is ABOUT appearing more girly
Giving fashion advice to Mioda
Having poetic thoughts ,which is mentioned twice (I believe he does actually think in that heavily artistic way in the game too.)
He also has underwears with flower patterns on
In short, I personally think heavily masculinized Hinata or Hinata who disregards femininity is out of character when the canon material shows that he's comfortable with his masculinity and femininity. (Dare I say he's far more feminine than Komaeda while Komaeda is mostly androgynous)
