Random Thought

Does anyone ever just want to know where your old dresses are in the world? We sell them and usually never see them again and then they’re sold again and I just want to know where they are and where they’ve been sometimes. Anyone else?

Opinion:

It’s rude for top dancers to do the oireachtas if they are not planning on attending the worlds because they are taking a qualify spot away from those dancers that are working really hard trying to qualify

Irish Dance Tips on Stamina?

Hey everyone so like probably anyone that has ever danced I️ struggle a lot with stamina. For some reason stamina class helps me with my heavy round but my set always kills me. So I️ thought that I’d start this thread and if you have any good ideas you want to share then they will all be on one place for everyone!

So I’ll start off my saying that I’ve noticed a big difference in stamina when I️ take vitamins (iron specifically) and make sure to eat red meat at least once a week (right around majors cause I️ don’t eat beef or pork usually)

Oh my gosh I’m still pinching myself! New England Oireachtas Champ! I’m so thankful and blessed to have these crazy teachers in my life who constantly push me to dance better than my best. And to the best group of senior ladies and friends a girl could ask for, I’m so proud of each and every one of you. I couldn’t ask to take the stage with a better group of boss women.

And to everyone who has a dream so big it scares the crap out of you, never stop dreaming. It may take longer than you’d like, but just don’t stop, don’t quit, and always ask how you can change up your training to get the results you want. This is my 17th Oireachtas, and 21st year of dancing, and I finally feel like I got my training right. Be patient, trust the process, and it will happen. :)

You guys, I reblogged this 2 days ago out of desperation. Today I was looking through my old wallet for coins to go to the vending machine because that’s all I can fucking afford. I haven’t touched this thing since July/ August. When I found a disappointing 15 cents in the coin pocket I went to the billfold to see if any coins were in there. That’s when I saw them. 5 crisp bills amounting to $22. I literally screamed and danced around my room out of joy before remembering that I’d reblogged this post.

OCTOBER 25, 2017 - Flint has not had clean water for 1,280 days. We are still dealing with the effects of the water crisis. Children are still being affected by lead poisoning. I have to be very careful about where I fill my water bottle at school (I’m a student at one of the four colleges in the city). PLEASE HELP US.

I’m 5′7″ and around 130 pounds but there is room to let it out and down. There are over $400 of Swarovski crystals on it. The underskirt is a matching blue to the collar so the judges really notice when you kick high. This dress really has been my lucky dress as it wasn’t until I got it that I started placing in open championship at every feis and recalling at the oireachtas and north american championships.
