Remus nodded at his wife’s words. He wished that he could understand all that she was saying. Tonks could accept things that were fantastic so much more easily than he could especially these days.
"You’ll forgive me, er, what was your name again?"
"Teddy. After Grandfather. Well, Edward, but I dropped the Edward bit," She licked her lips. "My middle name is Remus. I kept that." She knew that would mean little to him.
"Yes, well, Teddy…But I do require some proof that you’re my daughter," Remus admitted. "Is there something…"
"You left," She swallowed hard. "Probably a few months ago now. You left mum because you were scared. Harry talked some sense into you and you came home." She looked between her parents. "I don’t…I don’t know enough about you both to prove much I fear."
She signed and knew that she was a lot more guliable than her husband, she didn't look for the evil in people or have much experience in a war, with being deceived.
What a great piece of information she knew. It still stung her heart everytime she thought of Remus leaving. Her hair turned brown at the mention of it. "And the only people there were Harry, Ron and Hermione."
"We die Remus... before she even knows us... she won't be able to spurt out information." she still looked terribly hurt by the words, she didn't want to leave her now but knew she must. "Remus, you might not trust Teddy but you've got to trust me, right? I am your wife... and... it might sound like something out of a stupid movie but... I know... I can feel a connection."
