Growing diamonds and switching colors.
Now dear followers I'm proud to present...fusion pattern! :)))
If you have noticed, I haven't repeated (in the same exact way) any of the patterns I did in the thick bracelets I did so far. This is to prevent boredom in knotting and to help myself understand how colors and the way these patterns work. Which I find weird?? because it's where artsy and bohemian goes a bit mathsy and sciencey...
This time is a trial in combining different patterns and the result is this African-themed number! Yay :D This is a gift to a friend whose birthday was last week (this is where i am sorry for being late).
The patterns I used in this are the ff: for the narrow bands on the side (x), large diamond parts (x), little zigzags (x), little diamonds (x), and the wrapped string parts (x). All from friendship-bracelets.net
Six colors, one skein each.
Trend Rush, some kind of collage I did last year as a practice???
Now this one's from two weeks ago and also a gift. And this took the shortest time to make. Two days! For a thick bracelet, yes! And the first time I tried in embellishing by putting pearl finish stones for accent. I gave it last Thursday and she liked it! :D
Another late gift for a friend whose birthday is also in August. The colors are such ease on my eyes while knotting and I got carried away and ended up long and way too loose for the intended arm whoops
A very late thing. Made last month as a gift to a friend, which I gave in a month and a day late (or two) from her birthday. Work got in the way, sorry.
I guess the next challenge for me aside from making clean alpha knots and kumihimo things is to draw kissing people. just sayin
Guess what made me draw again? It's Welcome to Night Vale! And what better thing to do on a rainy Monday night on a holiday? (it was National Heroes Day in PHL) You got no idea how much I've enjoyed doing this, like I want to draw more. I'd like this to be a tattoo, but fearing my mom would never approve, so there you go, a submission to this.
Turk's head knot wrap on wooden bead.
This is a WIP too, I'm thinking of adding tassels on this one.
brb rummaging the stockroom
Practice patterns, also WIPs for another project.
this is the one i’m wearing for a week now. Actually, I planned this to be a fixed bracelet, meaning not to be removable; but my mind lapsed and ‘by default’ had put buckles and tails as what I normally do when finishing.
Thick friendship bracelets I made in my free time for the past two weeks. intended as gifts for two friends. A variation from the design by Celeste House. These were such a challenge! I tried to play with colors and arrangement of the elements, and they liked it! Whew!
Painted this on the back of my blouse. Because I can.
Colors of Muse's The 2nd Law in a bracelet.
Wrapping yarn on old and weary strappy shoes gives it a fab makeover.
Whole story coming soon!
