If violent videogames aren’t influential enough to make kids violent then I don’t see why I toy gun would be. A violent shooter game also has sound. It has controller vibration. It shows graphic violence and almost always contextualizes it to be a positive thing that the player is rewarded for doing. Firing a gun in a modern videogame is way more stimulating then firing a spring-loaded toy.

There’s never been any definitive study that links videogames to violent behavior and I think that also means there’s never been a definitive study that compares the influence of violent videogames to playing with toy guns.

I think the idea that a toy gun can influence violent behavior is an assumption you made only because it reinforces a pre-existing belief you had.

Also the orange barrel law hasn’t saved any lives, cops shoot more kids than ever and it’s never saved a life.

Cops twiddled their thumbs while people died. Parents were ready to storm the place, probably would’ve if the cops weren’t there to stop them. The police literally made the entire situation worse, it would’ve been better if no one called the cops at all.

I’ve worked a retail job for the entirety of the pandemic and haven’t caught it once. Unvaccinated and I don’t mask. Job has a mask mandate if you’re unvaccinated but they don’t check your vax status so literally no one wears one. Even before they let unvaxxed people go maskless no one wore one on third-shift. They wear them during the day for customers but the people who’ve been stocking your groceries at night for the past few years probably didn’t wear masks.

It’s your fault if you catch it. If you’ve caught it then you’ve spread it which means you’ve killed people. I, of course, am sinless. Stephen Colbert has killed more people with disease than I have and should be flogged in the street like the animal that he is.

Those are called publicity donations. They’re specifically made to organizations with interests that overlap with Gaga’s demographic audience. They’re made in order to increase her reputation and increase sales/support from her core demographic. The fact that you made that post to defend a person with a multimillion dollar real estate portfolio and who used her Netflix documentary series to advertise fucking Wal-Mart is proof it works.

If they weren’t publicity donations then they’d be made anonymously. If they were sincere then they’d be large enough to actually impact her lavish lifestyle.

All rich people donate to charity. All of them. She’s not special. Donating to charity as a rich person is profitable.

It’s getting more and more popular to criticize based on supposed ‘acab hypocrisy’, like if you don’t think cops should shoot people to death that also means you shouldn’t believe in calling the cops for other things.

But I’m not a hypocrite. I just want cops to do there jobs properly and enforce the laws should be enforced. Just because I call the fuzz on someone for something non-violent doesn’t mean I want anyone dead.

I just want them monetarily ruined with arbitrary fines that further financially strengthen the police state and to have them abducted by men with guns then sent to facilities where they’re five to seven times more likely to be raped than in the general population. Also where they’re even more likely to spread a virus to other inmates (probably just poor people anyway, no one important).
